The atmosphere was wonderful, the food outstanding, and it was quite a unique dining experience. You must make a reservation to expect to get to eat, but it is well worth the work of making sure to get a reservation. Im not sure about the days the are open for lunch and/or dinner. It is all dining outdoors but with our drought it never seems to be a problem. I think they also have umbrellas and possibly some kind of tarps or something because Im pretty sure they have not been stopped by the rare raining and they do have heaters so even when the weather is cool, they have been able to keep the diners warm enough to stay and enjoy their meals. It has been quite a while since we were there but we really enjoyed our meal there. Highly recommend this restaurant!

We went to Osteria Fasulo to celebrate my moms birthday. The place has nice food and it is very pretty (especially outside), but the portions are so tiny that youll hardly get a taste. Though the food is very good, it is not "gourmet" mini-portions kind of good. 20 bucks for 5 ravioli seemed a bit excessive to me. The service was okay. Servers were very nice but half the time they forgot stuff or were just not paying attention. At one point we had to go look for them to get water after waiting for a while for them to notice. The place is nice, I just didnt find it to be as good as other reviewers asserted. We will probably not be eating there again.

this one is by far the best restaurant I had in Davis. We only tried lunch special but was very satisfied. The dipping sauce for bread was made by olive oil, garlic and basal (i think), and we just couldnt stop eating it. the spaghetti were all very good, and the strawberry crepe dessert was not much but good enough as a wonder ending for lunch. We were sitting outside under the grape vine, the restaurant and food was so nice that we didnt want to go back for work...:) anyway, very nice restaurant indeed.

Really lovely "old world" European feeling courtyard dining experience. It is a bit pricey, and I get the feeling it is not as popular as it once was, but the atmosphere is lovely, the food is unique and well-prepared (though some dishes are a bit too unique for my taste) and the service is incredibly attentive and helpful.

Its fantastic. Id like to say that Ive eaten better elsewhere in the world, but I havent. The best gnocchi, the best tartufo, inspired takes on lovely mains and entrees ... you cant go wrong. The winelist is good with plenty of reasonably priced local wines on offer. Its a must-visit restaurant when we come to California.

We ate lunch outside here on a 98 degree day. The server was outstanding for our large party, keeping us well stocked with ice water and shade from umbrellas. I had a Caprese salad and Chicken Roulade - both excellent. The outdoor area is very pleasant, probably even more so on a cooler day or evening.

Stopped by here for lunch with some friends after hearing great things about Osteria for awhile. Definitely a relaxing, quiet place with nice outdoor courtyard view and a homely touch. The fish of the day, almond crusted trout with lemon butter, was absolutely divine. I will be sure to stop by again.

Dont go there, I want it all to myself and keep it the best secret in the area! If you miss outstanding service, incredible food, and a unique atmosphere that makes you believe you are truly in Italy......... well, there you have it. Treat yourself to this experience.

Im glad I gave this place a second chance. The food was outstanding. The renovations brightened the restaurant up quite a bit. It can be a little small and tight, but it is intimate. Everything that we ordered was spot on.

One of the best out of the way places in Davis. The setting is magic, the service really well done, and the food is authentic and tasty. Sit on outside, enjoy the shade, and dig in. Highly recommend.

Small portions and expensive. It is a very popular place. I think a lot of people like the outdoor dining. Limited options for people who dont eat beef or pork.

Terrific food served at just the right intervals between courses so you dont feel rushed or forgotten. Limited seating so be sure to get a reservation.
