Ive been eyeing this place every since I started looking for beignets close to home, but Im soooo lazy that I never wanted to drive here. Well my dealership is a block away and while I was chilling in the waiting area I pulled up my good old Yelp app and saw that this place was .2 miles away. I jumped up and started walking over. I really just wanted to have some beignets but I was so hungry because I didnt eat anything so far I also ordered a bbq pork banh mi and a order of the classic power sugar beignets. The banh mi was really good, it kind of surprised me. They didnt put mayonnaise in it (Im anti-mayonnaise), but I believe I saw butter and bits of garlic that made me fall in love. I thought I was ordering 1 beignet that would be donut size but it was a huge order of smaller triangle sized ones. Fresh out of the fryer they are made to order and came out hot and oh so delicious. Way too many for me to eat and I was starved, but I managed to eat about half. When I left I had to take the leftovers home and the guy at the counter said that he was actually impressed by how many I ate(not sure if that was a fat joke). Great service and it looks like they remodeled the place, its hip/trendy paint job decor. Way too many beignets. I dont know if I should complain about this but I would love to see a smaller portion at a lower price. Scratch another place off my long list of bookmarks. This will be my go to place when ever I take my car to get service. Solid food and service. Dont tell anybody but the female clientele and employees are pretty cute. Totally worth grabbing some tea/coffee and people watch.

Compared to banh mi che cali and lee sandwich, their quality is 8/10. I order various sandwiches here about twice a month. Each time the spread of meat/mayo/veggies is even and filling throughout both sides of the loaf, bread is still crispy even at the end of the day, and they dont skip the paté with soy sauce. Bún bò is light in lemongrass, very very oily from the red annato flavoring and you dont feel any salt aftertaste. Lots and lots of tender beef in thin round noodle which is a plus! Cilantro, mint and viet basil were already piled on top in two inch stems (I tore off the leaves since its more appetizing to eat). The small cafe sua da is better elsewhere for $2.95. Overall great quality of ingredients, moderate flavors and priced accordingly at $8.25. Will have to come back for the sea salt vn coffee.

This is easily my favorite banh mi place, though I cant really say Ive tried everything - Ive only had the Lynda Special Sandwich, which was so good I cant bring myself to not order it, oh and Ive had the beef stew, which was also wonderful. I like that the place itself is kind of decorated in an offbeat way, which makes it a pleasant place to eat. Also the kids working there are really nice, and they do their best to be helpful. Oh, almost forget the begniets! Order them with friends, and eat them all on the spot while theyre hot. Sweet doughy goodness!

I had a high expectation for this place particularly to try their beignets. I liked how they fry these right after you put the order. Good sized beignets with full of powder sugar came fresh out of fryers. I am already salivating just thinking about it. For what its worth, those beignets werent as good as they look. I cant pinpoint what it is but I much rather go have my beignets at Lillys Cafe in Westminster. I guess its hard to change your heart if you set your favorite place.

One of my favorite Vietnamese Sandwhich and Che places. The Xa Xiu (BBQ Pork) and Shredded Chicken Sandwhiches are delicious. Baguettes are warm, soft and just a little crispy. They use some kind of garlic, butter as a spread. And you cant beat the prices. The beignets are to die for (Honey Sugar) and Im hooked on the Che Buoi. Vietnamese Coffee is good and the Avocado smoothie isnt bad (not amazing, but not bad).

We had two sandwiches. The beef sandwich was really tasty. The bread very fresh, crunchy. The sandwiches were seasoned just right with the right amount of vegetables and the tiniest kick of jalapeno. Two Vietnamese ice coffee were very good, one of them perhaps a little too Strong, but tasty. We also had a beignet, original flavor that was tasty, piping hot. Two persons for less than $20. Clean restrooms.

Honestly I dont see the hype here. The sandwich are pretty small and its really annoying to come here and having all these people just give you the look. I feel like this place is only popular because of a poplar Asian singer. Other than that this place in my opinion is subpar compared to lees sandwich. The bread here doesnt taste as great and is also made less crunchy.

Great sandwiches - much better than Lees accros the parking lot. Feels more home-made and tastes great. Get the Lynda special sandwich and iced coffee. Other group next to us got some great looking hot dishes too. Not sure what they were, as I dont speak Vietnamese and some of the menu items dont have English translation. Bottom line - go here. Super tasty.

Very tasty sandwiches. I got the Lynda special and it was really good. The bead they use is tender in the middle and crispy on the outside. They put cilantro, cucumbers, chili, and other things and the combination of ingredients is out of this world. The decor here is really cool, too. Ill come back again, pho sure.

The bahn mi sandwiches are good here...more meat than the Lees across the parking lot. The ambiance is much nicer here with a nice TV, and couches. Cool place to grab a quick bite, hang out, or just plug in.

Bought a varieties banh mi to try out. Mostly average taste. I think the bread could be better. The Chay (veggie) was bland. Get the Dac Biet (special). Plus 1 star for being open after Tet.

I tried the special sandwich it was bland and bad quite frankly. Not enough pickled veggies and doesnt taste sour enough to my liking. One star for the passion fruit tea and the ice coffee.
