Pastrami. I come here for anything with pastrami in it. The Santa Cruz is my usual go-to sandwich, however, I do ask for no cream cheese, no anything pickled, no mustardy flavors. Its always the largest sandwich, half wrapped to go because there is no way I can sit and eat 4 servings of pastrami, veggies and bread. In one sitting, maybe in an hour or 2 at my desk...but not then and there.

second visit. still a solid 4 star. super food and service. cool beachy themed decor, background music, sandwich names, etc. I love the surfboard tables, but those were a bit too high for my short self. so we sat at one of the tables with stools, also a bit too high for me, which is the only reason I couldnt give the 5th star. oh well, the sandwich was worth it. I will be back.

BHD has some of the best sandwiches around. Every location makes the food three same and they are all awesome and delicious. While not a lot of indoor seating, there is some out door seating. The music was great, classic rock. The staff were friendly.

OMG Im serious it was so delicious.I might even say its the best sandwich ever had.But in Salinas theres a place thats really good.But this is AWESOME for real.Its definitely a must taste place.We will definitely be coming back.

Ordered Don sunrise or sth similar on white garlic bread for $8, waited 10 minutes to get a sandwich which I can only describe as a mayo sandwich, no veggies no nothing but mayo. Subway is 100 times better than this.

Very good, HUGE sandwiches. Be prepared to dislocate your jaw when you eat one of these monster sandwiches! Also if you like avocado they really pack it in, I swear they put a whole avocado on my sandwich.

Smells amazing as soon as u walk in .. Staff is friendly and attentive . warched a line out rhe door be served in a matter of minutes so dont be discouraged if there is a line . great job team !!
