Been listening to my buddy Eric say for the past few years "we need a Ramen restaurant here in Ventura." He is used to in Japan where Ramen is the "fast food." Well, I saw the review in Ventura Reporter a couple of weeks ago and said we got to try this place out. Eric, Jodie, and myself went there yesterday for dinner. We enjoyed it, big time. The Ramen was real good, the broth was thick (a good sign) and the noodles were real Ramen type noodles. All three of us enjoyed the meals we had. The service was pleasant. The bike out front was the owners, and this was the touch for me, we are all bikers too. We now do not have to ride to Little Tokyo every time we want good Ramen.

I am a wifey to this Yelp holder and they have treated me, being a gluten-free gal, superbly. The owner/chef and the people who work here are sweet and phenomenal. The food is to die for. The heart behind this place when you know it, is special. A dream accomplished for a well deserved person who strives to cook well and care well for others. Special place and a favorite we cant deny in Phoenix!!! Also, the drinks are fabulous and creative... Pineapple Marg special is amazing.

Simply the best Ramen/noodles in Ventura. Small basic restaurant, around 10 tables and a ramen bar so not flashy place, but really great ramen and generally friendly staff. If bringing a guest/date bring someone who is into ramen or you and not looking for trendy ambiance. Can be very busy at times and you may have to wait for a table so Im conflicted in leaving this review. I really dont want you competing for my table but they do a great job and deserve the recognition.

Great variety of ramen. Pork belly broth (tonkotsu ~ 豚骨) is thick...but savory enough to slurp down. Theyre noodles are thick, but soft enough so you dont have to chew much. Awesome that they have veggie and vegan alternatives (when you have non-meat eaters joining you). A bit small...but a given for a ramen place. Take-out is a lot of food when you bring it home!

I was very impressed with this place. My expectations when going out to eat are super low because its hard to find good places these days. However, I was blown away by the excellent customer service, the yummy food, and great prices. My boyfriend and I had 3 courses and he had a beer and our meal was under $30. Definitely coming back :)

Very tasty noodle soup, very tasty gyoza, good service, nice atmosphere, and clean. We have only been there once and the place was practically empty, making it very personal and enjoyable. I have heard stories though of lines out the door. I will make it a point to visit Toki each time I am through Ventura, thats for sure!

While driving past the movie theater we noticed a new restaurant featuring ramen and, being fans, we had to stop in. The staff was friendly, the place was clean and the Volcano Ramen was terrific! The gyoza was also tasty. We took the takeout menu home with us so that we can enjoy Toki fare more often. Yum!

This is one of our favorite new restaurants in town. Amazing Ramen and the atmosphere is really friendly. Old Japanese movies playing in the background, and you can have a great evening for under $25. Did I mention they serve Saki? Every other week I have to get my Toki fix, this place is addictive. Fact.

Amazing ramen! Ive been working my way thought all their different ramen and I have yet to encounter one I didnt love. Particularly recommend the Volcano Ramen! Service is always friendly and fast, prices are very reasonable, and very clean. Couldnt recommend more if you want a bowl of ramen!

saw this place and was looking forward to try it out. but when i saw their specials my enthusiasm quickly faded. yes its obviously authentic as the fools are ranting. $15 a bowl for the cheapest and most basic asian cuisine of noodle soup however is not.

For the ramen cravings, this is the spot in Ventura. Due to the small size, it may be though to get seated during busy times, but the food is always great. Just remember to head out for a long walk, or share, its a lot of food

Just got back from a deployment to Okinawa, Japan. This is the closest to authentic Japanese Ramen you can find in the Ventura area. Delicious, great service, good prices. I just hope they can get a bigger building.

Best ramen you can probably find here without having to travel to LA. Volcano Ramen was good, however, dont ask for mild spiciness. Didnt taste spicy whatsoever. If you want decent spiciness order regular not mild.

The food is great and the people are nice, its just the wait time is unbelievable. The kale takes 35-45 min to be served. Really, does it take 45 min to lightly grill some leaves??? Good food though

This is one our favorite places to go to dinner. All of the ramens are delicious. Though I recommend the Mabo or Volcano ramen. The staff is friendly and helpful and the restaurant is cozy.

Really good ramen. Try the Volcano. It comes in four levels - mild, normal, spicy, and very spicy. They will bring you extra spices if you ask.

When I think of Ramen, I think piping-hot, rich, broth; fresh noodle. This place is lacking in these areas. Staff was friendly!
