While saddened by the loss of Momiji, I was excited to see a new noodle shop pop up. The decor leaves something to be desired, as it doesnt really have an inviting vibe. The service was curt, but acceptable. The broth was quite good, if a little flat. I tried the tonkatsu. Noodles were of decent quality. Ultimately, the price makes it hard to justify. Either go more traditional, less options and a cheaper bowl of ramen - or go big with a superior broth, and quality additions to the noodle. As this place is still pretty new, I look forward to trying a few more times to see how they dial it in. 3/5 slurps.

My husband and I loooove ramen. This is the worst ramen weve both ever had, the noodles had a strange texture, the ramen had no flavor, and the veggies were rubbery. Cant wait for Gaman to open back up, another great unsuspecting place to get good ramen is Minato sushi and bar on S. Virginia.

..I have only received one paycheck and never got paid overtime. I have just filed with the labor board along with two other ppl. This place is awful to work for. The owner hates vegetarians and white people. He doesnt pay his employees and he cooks the books

The pork bone broth was pretty good! The pork slices were flavorful without being too oily and I really liked the takoyaki and fried shumai too. Only thing they had for my vegetarian friend was a bland rice bowl though. Otherwise Id come here again :-)

The food comes fast and you can watch them make it if you sit at the bar. Offers large beer, gyoza, takoyaki, cold noodle... The owner learned how to make ramen in Japan so its as authentic as youre going to get in Reno!

Food was good, but a little flavorless. Im not sure how real ramen is supposed to taste. The waitress snapped at me and my friends when we were thinking.That wasnt fun.

Not what i expect for a Ramen that I usually eat. The soup lacks of flavor. I wish someone could give me a recommendation of authentic Ramen house near Reno or Sparks.

This is one of my favorite restaurants in their area. There food is good and its not to pricey. If I had to complain I would say that parking is a pain in their ass.
