I have eaten there twice. The first time was my husband and I. The food was had great flavor but the temperature of the food was a bit on the cool side. I believe it sat around too long before being served. The second time we went w/2 other friends/business associates. There were only a couple tables in there during our 2 hour visit. We dropped a respectable amount of money and upon ordering dessert, we were reminded by the server that, "we close in 15 minutes." It was very rude considering we were the reason they made any money at all that evening. Again, flavors were good but not polished. I am a huge fan of Thai cuisine, have been in the culinary industry for over 20 years and expected a bit more both in service (although friendly) and in food quality. We really do not care for the TV in the dining room. It takes away from the ambiance. If we wanted food and TV, we could go to a sports bar or just stay home.

Ive been eating here for over ten years. I enjoyed the old ownership but find the new owners (a family affair) to be even better, friendlier, food fresher, and they did a great job redecorating the place and bringing it into the 21st century. One of the owners (the wife) took over cooking to ensure the food would meet their strict new standards. Prices are good, portions are good and spice levels are right on par. Great place for take-out, or dine in. I call ahead about ten minutes and the food is ready shortly after I arrive for take-out, or call ahead if I am limited in my lunch hour to have the food ready when I get there. Once I hit enter in-fact, Im going to go get my lunch there today. I should mention that I spent 22 years in the USAF, traveled to Thailand and the food here is great!!!

Watch out for your credit card. I ate here on Jan 25, 2017 during lunch time and I paid with my credit card. On reviewing my credit card statement, an online transaction for MAC cosmetics (I AM A MALE!!) were placed using my credit card on the same date. And this is the only place on that date that I used my credit card. BEWARE! I called MAC cosmetics and was told that the product is being sent to someone (not me) and to an address (not mine) but they cannot gave me the information of this person and location unless I filed a police report. I already called my credit card company to cancel my credit card.. Lots of hassle but I am glad I caught it right away. If you have been a costumer before, review your credit card statement!!

A friend and I were looking for a thai place that stayed open past 9 pm. When we called Ruen to see how late they stayed open, the lady told us they were closing, but was so kind to remain open so that we could eat there. When we arrived, table was already set. Very small, but intimate atmosphere. Staff was very kind. Ordered the red curry with chicken--delish! (eating it now as leftover ;-) . Friend ordered lemon chicken...didnt expect it to be fried but was still very good!

I have been to Thailand many times and can honestly say that this is the one of most authentic Thai restaurant in the area. Oh, if you like it hot, they will set your dish on fire for you, but remember to ask! The only con to the place is that they only open 6 days a week.

This is an excellent thai restaurant. Ive eaten thai in places like San Francisco, Sacramento, and Ann Arbor, and I can tell you this food is tops. I particularly like the duck red curry. Yumm.

Since 2001, this restaurant has been one of the best in CA. Just like the best in Thailand! Personable, friendly and delicious...Fabulous service since only 3 people operate this very busy place!

The Pra ram was not what I expected, it was not the traditional peanut style. They also stopped making the fish cake, which is my favorite Thai appetizer. Small, family owned.

The food is usually pretty good, however inconsistent. Ordering ahead prevents a long wait for food.
