First and only time Ive eaten here so far. Had lunch with my mother in law after our last minute Christmas shopping on Christmas Eve at about 4 pm. It seemed a little empty, but my mother in law said they usually get a big crowd for dinner. Sure enough, as we were eating our meal and towards the end, people in large parties started showing up. Anyway the food was delicious. I ordered a Chile relleno with an enchilada and rice & beans. Mom in law had Chile relleno with taco dorado & rice & beans. I am really picky when it comes to Mexican food, being that Ive always had the best kind at home, so I always base my opinion of the food on my mom & sisters comida casera. The service was great, the servers were very pleasant and had a good sense of humor, the place was very tastefully decorated for the Holiday Season. No complaints about this place whatsoever.

Mi Ranchito used to be my favorite restaurant. I went there weekly for almost a decade. They had perfect chili rellenos, wonderful beans and rice, and good beef dishes. Sadly, about five years ago, this changed suddenly and hasnt changed back. The rice is now bland, the beans always taste like a burnt fat, and the shredded beef dishes tend to have frozen spots in the beef. Ive tried going back about twenty times since the change in hopes that it would get better again, but it hasnt. No one will go with me now. My boyfriend ended up with frozen spots in his beef the last four visits in a row. The chili rellenos are still the best around, and the chips and salsa are still nice, but thats it. Its just so sad. I cant find a chili relleno this good anywhere else, but its so odd to eat it alone. The margaritas have also suffered a change for the worse.

This is the far most the worst Mexican restaurant I have ever been to. I decided to try it out with my wife on Christmas Eve and when we got there we werent greeted by person at the front counter instead I had to ask if they were open or not, as we were just standing there without any response from anyone. He just nodded as he was too busy counting his money. He started to shout at some to come and assist us, but when no one came he told us to help ourselves. After we sat down, we waited for 10 mins and there was no one to take our order and the restaurant was empty so they definitely werent busy. We got really frustrated & left the place and the person at the front counter didnt even care to ask or apologize as we were leaving. This place doesnt even deserve a 0 star.

I always have great service here and the food is always great. The chips and salsa are freshly made not store bought! I love the Chicken Soup, mix in some of the regular salsa and the hotter salsa that you can request at any time, and it tastes great! I also get a Steak Enchilada with no beans and extra rice and it always tastes great. Nancy is one of the owners and she is great and always chats with me. Laura is always friendly and will go above and beyond to serve you. I love this restaurant and come here at least once or twice a week and no I am not related to anyone that works here and do not work here myself. Just a regular HAPPY CUSTOMER! Keep up the great work Mi Ranchito Upland. I have never been to the other 2 Mi Ranchitos, this review is for the Upland one.

My friend and I went here a few months ago. She ordered a burrito with no spicy veggies or sauce in it, just meat cheese and beans, and they bring it to her with all the stuffings she didnt want, which is too spicy for her. We waited and waited and waited before finally someone came to ask us how the food was, my friend, politely as she could, asked them to make another the way she ordered it. After waiting only a few minutes, they brought her another, only it wasnt another burrito... someone opened her burrito and forked out all the spicy toppings! She was grossed out by that so we left and never went back.

Sadly disappointed. Dropped by for a Margarita during Happy Hour. There were 3 signs advertising $3.00 Happy Hour Margaritas. The time was correct, the day was correct..so we ordered. The bill came it should have been $6.00 plus tax...But no, it said, $13.00!! Then the waiter said, "Im sorry thats for the little Margaritas." The Margarita we were served looked to be a standard Margarita in a regular Margarita glass. We explained and pointed at the printed advertisement on the table. Again he just said, "Im sorry." Too bad, its in the neighborhood and it was a cute place. But we left feeling ripped off.

This place is great, the environment is friendly. The bartenders make great drinks, like the cucumber jalapeño Margarita and bomb michiladas. The Carne Asada tacos are good, they should come with avocado or guacamole instead of having to ask for it and being charged. They are really attentive and it feels like hanging with friends when we are here. This has become our Friday night, date night spot. Love this place check it out give it a chance and try the jalapeño Margarita.

Mi Ranchito is a great place to get delicious Mexican food. The servers are friendly and very knowledgeable about the menu. You get yummy chips and salsa while waiting for your food order. I have tried many things on the menu and love them all. My favorites include the steak picado, chile relleno burrito and chile colorado. I always leave being very satisfied with my meal, the service and value.

Well, disappointed. Food is pretty standard. Nothing out of the ordinary. Yet we ordered a Mahi Mahi fajitas and they prob Aly thought were stupid. We were served a tiny tilapia steak! And no one bother to let us know that mahi mahi was 86. And the owner offered to discount 2.00 off the price. We refused the meal. No bueno. Not the right way to do business. Never going back just because of that.

This place is horrible the owner is so rude you call her she looks at ypu and walks away my husband ordered chicken taco it had bones we show her and then shes like we have bonless chicken then wtf is in my food omg this was a very very horrible experience and the OWNER NEEDS TO LEARN HOW TO TALK TO HER CUSTOMERS PROPERLY

Excellent service . From all employees ready to help each other like teamwork. Our waiter Ricardo was up on the service. And always checking to see if we needed anything. His mannerism were very concerned about how the food was and if we had enough to drink. This is our fourth Time the here and we enjoyed the company.

I love Mi Ranchito Upland. All of their 3 locations are actually great. The best deal for lunch are their lunch specials. $7 includes drink and delicious albondigas soup. The enchilada style burrito is really good and just enough food. Me and my family love eating here as often as we can.

Came here with my friend and her grandmother. The food was delicious, service was excellent and friendly, thanks to Drea. The only complaint I have is the noise level inside the indoor seating area. It sometimes gets too loud to remain enjoyable. Otherwise, amazing experience.
