I was really impressed by there attention to customer service. This was my first time at this location and I will definately be back. I came in on a busy Friday night but the staff did all they could to get us seated right away. Our waitress was fantastic and super sweet to our 1 year old son. I asked her to warm up the milk for my son and she brought it back right away :). We left her a nice tip and my husband and I talked all the way home about our great service. 2 days later I received a call from a vendor from whom I had written a check to and they advised me that Melissa from Olive Garden in Montclair was looking for me because I had left an envelope full of gift cards. In an envelope I had left a copy of a check written to this vendor along with multiple gift cards. Melissa googled the vendors name from whom I had written the check and managed to get a hold of me. Who does that? I couldnt believe it and more importantly I wanted to let everyone know about Melissa. I went into Olive Garden Montclair 3 days later to tip Melisa and pick up my gift cards but it turns out she was a manager and the hostesses would not take my tip. Instead Im writing an email to convey my gratitude for your honesty and customer service. Melissa although I didnt get a chance to meet you I wanted to say thank you! Olive Garden is lucky to have you. To my waitress thank you as well for bringing it to your managers attention. I will definitely be back! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!

Olive Garden wouldnt be my first choice for a special night out, as it really is just really heavy, carb-loaded Italian food with a hefty price tag. However, the service is pretty good and the food, while not amazing, is of decent quality with generous portions, so you can at least be sure youll be full for hours. Unless, you have acid reflux, in which case I wouldnt suggest eating here. The menu offers a wide variety of Italian favorites with a fancy modern twist and the drinks menu has a lot of different wines and cocktails to make your meal feel extra special. The desserts are okay. The Warm Apple Crumble wasnt as warm or decadent as it appeared in the picture, and I have had better Tiramisu. But hey, if youre not a high maintenance foodie, like some of us, you should be fine. The decor offers a calm and intimate feel, so unless youre dining smack dab in the middle of the dining room, you can be sure your meal wont feel rushed. Theres also plenty of room, so dont forget to bring friends and share all those endless breadsticks!

The worse place to be at we love olive garden, my daughters and I have a yearly tradition were we come to olive garden in between all of our birthdays and just enjoy the food and bread. This time around it was horrible the waitress seemed uninterested that we came in and didnt make an effort to explain anything to my daughters about their meals. My youngest asked for bread and brings out the hardest bread sticks ever. She than proceeds to bring our drinks out and they werent even what we ordered we has peach tea (she brought regular tea) two smoothies both peach mango (brings out one peach mango one raspberry banana) to top it off our food was cold. In exception of the soup. Thx for making our day memorable. Will not be returning to this place. Mind you all there are about 4 tables in the whole occupied of parties of two

I have been to this restaurant before and customer service was just regular I did have to wait a lot to be serviced so I didnt care much to return... Today we came in for lunch Lazarus our waiter was amazing!!! Great excellent professional and humble service we have ever received he was extremely friendly and on top of all our needs the dish I had was not to my liking and he was prompt to exchange it without making me feel I was being picky... I would definitely return and ask for his table... May I add every table he was servicing he provided the same exact undivided attention!!!

I can understand when you are extremely crowded or short staffed, you might forget to check on your tables but our server got the cake last night. Even though I lit up "call waiter" light on the little tablet do-hickey for 10 minutes, and she past by our table at least 3 times, seeing the light is lit, she did not bother to stop and ask why it was lit and obviously did not see my beverage glass was empty. And for god sake, there were maybe 10 or 15 tables in the whole restaurant, occupied. They were not that busy. Never to return again.

Weve gone here a couple tines with a large group a few days before Christmas for dinner, each time we had reserved the dinning room in advance and each time it wasnt ready. They dont have a system in place to get a group out of the dinning room if it cuts into another reservation time. Unfortunately the most recent time not only did we not get our dinning room when we arrived but the milk I received for my children was spoiled. Both situations were rectified but we were still inconvenienced. I guess well see what happens this year.

I think this olive garden and the one in ontario are by far the greates in the sb county area.. that so called joshua that gave his bad comments sounds like he must be a very impatient and distrought person to not value the hard work these people do to serve us our food. Not everyone has the patience to treat and serve other people in resturant service so I think you joshua need a lesson in appreciation, why dont you try it before judging , you wouldnt last the first hour.

We love most olive gardens for the cheap soup and breadsticks but this location has the best service ever and multiple times too. We are somehow always blown away by how great the waitstaff are and how amazing our little experience is. I cannot recommend this specific locarion enough to anyone looking for fast casual italian. And they do groups well too. The management here is really on point.

The service would have been excellent, however when we kept asking for the special menu that for my daughter who had allergies. The servers kept saying that certain foods did not have the allergen she was allergic to, only to find out that she did indeed eat the allergen. It was horrifying! we had to take precautions and take care of any medical reaction. It was terrible!

The location was remodeled since my last visit. The booths are gone and it feels like a cafeteria now. The open floor plan makes the location really loud. I dined here on a busy Thursday night and we had to yell over the chatter in the room. The foid was good as usual. Got the soup and salad. Would not recommend this location. It feels cheap. What happened.
