Id seen this place on Yelp and wanted to give it a try. I feel that there arent too many GOOD ramen places nearby in the East Bay and this was one of the closer ones to me. Compared to the ramen Ive had in socal, this was just ok. Taste-wise I thought it was good, but not spectacular. I enjoyed it, but felt it was just a bit lacking. I got the Tonkotsu Ramen and it didnt even come with an egg. My friend ordered the Miso Ramen and that came with the egg. While it may not seem a big deal to some people, an egg in ramen is just one of those typical things that are always in every order no matter what kind of ramen you get. The portion size of the ramen was good, as we both felt the bowl was pretty large and had a decent amount of noodles. I like my broth to be more savory, but this one wasnt as much. The amount of chashu was good though and didnt leave me wanting more. Overall, it satisfied my craving, was tasty, but Ive had better as it lacked ingredients (especially the egg).

So this is supposed to be a ramen place, but I dont really like their ramen. Its not bad, but nothing really special about it. What I like from their menu is their Gyu Don (beef bowl). Its basically beef on top rice, with a drizzle of picked ginger, served it a bowl. But it taste so damn good. First of all, they dish is served in a bowl (Im looking at you Yoshinoya). That alone already got many points from me. The food itself is good and fulfilling. They also have some specials like deep fried oyster which is also delicious. The price is pretty decent as well.

The ramen wasnt that tasty, even though the staff were very friendly. What was most disappointing was the takoyaki. It was just a tiny little piece of tako covered with way too much tasteless dough and deep-fried. The sauce didnt have that much flavor either. For the price you pay, definitely not worth it. Not to mention everybody there (the staff) were all Chinese, so not surprisingly the food didnt taste at all like Japanese food. Probably great food for gaijin.

My boyfriend and I eat here regularly and it is our favorite Ramen shop in the area. The wait staff are always charming and welcoming. Be prepared for a bit of a wait if you are with more than 3 others because the shop isnt huge. It is fun to sit at the counter and watch as your order is made. I really like the menu because there are several options which are not pork-based. Our favorite appetizers are the garlic edamame and the Takoyaki.

This is probably the best ramen place around this area. It is pretty small and there is a wait during the winter. Probably because people want soup when its cold. I usually get the tantan ramen because its spicy. They also give a lot of meat compared to other ramen places that only give 2 slices. During my last visit, I was a little disappointed to find a piece of meat that was a little burnt and overcooked :(

Absolutely the best RAMEN anywhere in East Bay. Small place, often a wait. Highly recommended! I like a wee bit spicy ramen; I recommend the Kara Miso Sapporo Ramen. I prefer it without corn. The staff is extremely friendly and greet you as a friend/family. They even recollect what you ordered last time. If you choose to go during lunch hour, be ready to wait. It is worth it.

Cant speak for the rest of the menu but probably the best ramen in the area plus the staff is super nice. My wife and I vacation in Japan once a year so our expectations are high and Tadamasa helps quell our ramen cravings. Maybe just a step down from Orenchi in San Jose but a very small step. The gyoza and calamari are also very good.

I came to this place hoping I would get a nice hot bowl of ramen but it was over crowded and busy, none of workers greeted us. So we waited 10 minutes at the bar area and still nothing, I walked out upset with my girlfriend and found Mongolian hotpot down the street. Plenty of tables and great soup.

Meat wasnt as soft as other ramen places, and didnt have that torched look / taste. Noodles were of the thinner type, with no apparent option to switch to thicker ones. Was a great amount of meat if you get the chasu varients of the ramens.

Came by for a late lunch and have to admit that I was a bit disappointed. The soup was overly salty and their BBQ pork (Char Siu) was very dry leaning towards beef jerky quality. To me, the Char Siu tasted as if it had refrigerator burn.

The strip mall feel bleeds into the restaurant. The food was good but the temperature was sweltering and it was very crowded. If we had been able to take the food to go (send like thats the wing way to eat Raman) it would be 5 stars.

Tadamasa is one of my favorite ramen spots. They is usually a wait, but you can pop directly next door into Jims bar and wait. Which in my experience is never longer than 10 minutes the most. I highly recommend coming here for ramen.

I love this place because of the atmosphere, variety of the dishes, and the quality of food. The ramen here is the best I have tasted, considering how many ramen restaurants Ive tried. Definitely worth trying and eating

I love this place. The ramen and its broth is really good and decently priced. I normally alternate between a ramen dish and their curry chicken over rice dish each time I visit, which is pretty often.

Small restaurant with some vegan & vegetarian options. We had Kara Sapporo Miso without meat or egg, & Kara Yakisoba. Service was pleasant & fast. It is not a fancy place. It is in a shopping center.

We love their Ramen. I particularly love their Tan Tan with pork belly! Their gyoza and salt and pepper calamari is to die for...Its pretty tiny and gets busy at lunch time! Wait staff is friendly!

Ramen is just the usual noodles, it has distinct bitter taste. The soup is salty, overpriced for the taste and quality and too taxing to the kidney.. friendly staff though...coming back, nope.

Good ramen, fast service, will come again. As an improvement suggestion they may place chairs or benches outside for customers, who are waiting in line so they dont stand by the door

If you come during the dinner rush it can be hard to get seated because of how small the place is, but the food is absolutely delicious! Worth the wait in our opinion.
