A just okay place if youre here for the ramen. Their portion for rice dishes is very good though if youre hungry and want to eat a lot. Omelette rice is good but curry rice is on the spicy side so my kids couldnt enjoy the curry. Most ramen items are a little too salty for me. Their fried rice is Japanese style - rice on the soft side instead of crispy/ solid. They looked a little under staffed as its pretty hard to even find the server because they are pretty busy. The owner and servers are decently very friendly though.

Saturday lunchtime : Spicy Men-Bei ramen = tasty spices and looks good too, pork chashu is tender and flavorful, little bit on oily side as u can see by the photo. Spicy Yakisoba = decent size, well seasoned and mixed, spiced well too. Pros = Good flavorful dishes and good friendly service even though we got served wrong order initially but thats ok, Cons = Ramen is something we almost do just as well at home. We probably wont be back anytime soon unless we happen to be starving while shopping near Costco there :)

We were on our way to another restaurant but pulled in to Men-Bei instead. We loved the spicy (extra hotto) men-bei ramen and mabodofu here. The ramen was very rich and flavorful (a bit oily, maybe). I usually dont eat mabodofu but had a hard time sharing this particular plate with my girlfriend since it was so tasty. Also, I felt like service was particularly quick for ramen shops around here - we had our food just a few minutes after we ordered (unlike Orenchi and similar venues).

Finally a ramen place in the bay area with a good selection! Plenty of varied options to choose from, both the usual stuff and some new thinking. Their spiciness was also on point (you choose between little, medium, and very), asked for a little spicy and it was just the right amount. The broth had a lot of flavor and the noodles were good enough (although, they were the dried kind). Will definitely come back!

Wow - great ramen for a really fair prize. The portions are huge and you get really good value for your money. You wouldnt necessarily expect this kind of quality ramen in this area but they really got it right. There is usually a wait during lunch and dinner hours but it is certainly worth the wait. The place is really down to earth and service is friendly and quick. Great place to eat ramen in Santa Clara.

Good servings even for a regular bowl of ramen. The wife got a large Miso ramen and it enough for her and our toddler to enjoy. Flavor is good. I had the won ton ramen which was also delicious. Only problem was was that both broths were super salty and the service wasnt as attentive as we would like. We would definitely come back and try more ramen or maybe their other dishes which looked good as well.

Extremely limited vegetarian options. Acceptable to below average Ramen. Not too busy during lunch when I visited a year ago. Now they are very busy during lunch with people waiting for limited seating. On a recent visit, they seemed impatient when someone in our party asked for vegetarian options. Ramen arrived just warm instead of hot. Seems like they can be too busy to properly heat up the broth.

Loud, repetitive banging noise coming from the kitchen the whole time I was eating. Shio broth had an off putting odor to it. Salad greens were used as an ingredient in ramen?! Noodles were slick with no texture and took no flavor from the broth. Between the noise and the quality of the food I couldnt finish the bowl.

Ambience: 3/5 Food: 3.5/5 Service: 3.5/5 Small seating space but there are a lot of parking spots, mainly because of Costco next to it. Food is good & serving size is pretty big. The staff is friendly and polite. The server keeps track in case you need anything. Good pick if you are a Ramen person.

The soup was wayyy too salty, the noodles were very hard and chewy. Honestly, I couldnt even finish my plate because of how salty the soup was. It was my first time here and Im judging this place based on the one plate that I had.. but I can definitely say that I will never come here again.

Huge portion of tasty fried rice. My kids favorite, and he tried a bunch of other places. His healthiest recurrent choice. Other meals are good too. Super nice lady tenant. Fair prices. Fast service. Unpretentious, clean and enjoyable small restaurant.

Good food great people. While waiting for tires I came for substance and to kill time, I even brought my dog. They gave her water and even a few nice meaty treats. What a great visit, totally worth the money

The price is reasonable for the area. It is super convenient because it is right next to Costco. And the hostess was attentive and quick! The restaurant was picking up as I wait for my to-go order.

Good fried rice. Ramen lacked flavors in the broth and had uninspiring toppings like cabbage. Not worth the special visit, especially in a hyper competitive ramen scene in South Bay.

Great Ramen and rice. The rice portion was huge. I believe 2 people can share the rice and maybe they are not able to finish it. Price is good too. We will come back for sure.

This is actually Chinese food in disguise, but served at more expensive Japanese food prices. Not bad, but definitely not Japanese.

Fantastic! And you can customize your order with extras. I recommend adding butter and corn for a Sapporo style ramen.

Among the many great ramen places in the Bay Area, this place does not stand out. That said, the staffs are friendly.
