Equal part brewery, restaurant and sports bar. Its hard to consider them a typical brewery because of the food menu and an abnormal amount of televisions playing sports. Been around a while. Set up in the outskirt, but more historical part of Tustin, its tucked away in the corner of a white walled building it looks more like a wine bar or brunch café from the outside. Parking is not ideal due to shared lot, 1 way in and out thats on a light and just poor ergonomics, spots are a little tight. I know most of this doesnt matter that much to the typical hop head just looking for good beer, but this isnt taphunter or untapped where its just about the beer. Im used to mingling with minimal seats in an open area versus segregated from the restaurant. Tall stools, tight area and a pretty old crowd. Not your usual Craft boom babies. Some old salty dogs meeting up for weekly drinks. I fully expected the food to overpower the restaurant, but I was barely hungry, must be good ventilation. They have 6-12 house beers on tap and another 6-12 local and craft beers as well (my recent trip had pliny, belching and other pretty famous breweries), but seeing as I come from the Craft Mecca I actually only hadnt had their house beers, not surprising though. No flight board, no flight carrier, just put in order in front of me top to bottom, left to right. Im an IPA man so favoring the double IPA wasnt surprising (reminds me of kismet from Mother Earth). Im not going to go too into the beers because like I said thats not the whole place and there are better sites for that. Price was pretty decent at $2 and change per taster ended up being just under $17 for 8 4oz tasters. I found them overall a little strong, but not under rated on ABV like some smaller breweries. Décor is brick inside with TVs lining all walls, standard tables and chairs keep it open in the restaurant side. Very Pizza Portish. Service is generally good, can be slow due to understaffing. The brewery area is usually handled well, restaurant area is ok, but Ive seen the kitchen get swamped. The menu is definitely more gluteny and socal and not Italian, but pretty extensive. I stikc with the basics like the lemon heights chicken, fish and chips. The chili chees fries are hearty, TBC sampler is great for sharring, Im not a fan of the wings. Nachos have beans, really? Ahi teaser is Cajun ahi, will catch you off guard. Good onion rings and poppers, well breaded and fried. The sandwiches are pretty popular, but not during HH. Hickory Burger is actually pretty solid, the red hill bbq sauce is good, but not deep. The onion rings, cheese and smoked bacon make it. The lemon hieghts chicken hs a great mushroom, artichoke sauce, fresh parm on top makes it pretty solid. The sausage platter would be create with cheese, but to me is the best appetizer of the bunch. Pizzas are well cooked, the dough is the weak part as the ingredients are actually pretty good. Personally I wasnt impressed with the beer menu and the food is ok for a restaurant, good for a brewery, the TVs kill it though. To me breweries are about the people, not TVs and sports. I love both, but like to keep my beer separate. More Karl Strauss meets Hooters than Id like. I think Im getting to the point where its just hard to impress me with your beer selection.

Best Place Ever!!! Great atmosphere, bomb food, and great beer, all for a great price, even better price for beer if your a member of the mug club (which I am). My Best friend Oscar Alaniz, who past away April 10th 2013, was the one who first took me to the brew, and was also the one to buy me my membership into the mug club, we were there the day of the funeral, and every year since, and we will be there again this year to celebrate him @ the place he used to refer to as HIS Cheers!!! You know where everybody knows your name!!! Anyways its a great place, Check it out!!!

Tustin Brew Co. is one of the best places to go in the Orange County area for good beer. Not only are their house brews top notch, but they always have other good beers on the rotating taps. A must visit if youre in the area and looking for some craft beer. Their food is usually pretty decent, Ive had some highs and some lows there. But overall, pretty consistently above average. Its what youd expect from a brewpub, not much else. But honestly, youre here for the beer, the big TVs and projectors, and having fun with other beer loving sports fans.

If you go to the Tustin Brewery, go for the beer! They have one of the best selections of beer that you can find in Orange County. Depending on the day that you go you will find some of the best beer that California has to offer from Russian River Pliny the Elder to Bear Republic Racer 5. They typically have 5-8 outside beers on tap and 5-6 fantastic beers they brew as well. If their Session Pale Ale is on tap I highly recommend it. They also have a great American Wheat style Hefeweizen if you are looking for an easy drinking summertime beer.

It was just okay. The food was good, but rather plain typical bar fare. Nothing to make me want to come back to get. The service was horrible. The waitress never checked on us and we had to ask another waitress if we could get refills. Once we had finished, we waited another 20 minutes before she finally brought the check. In all fairness we didnt try any of the beers since I was driving and my wife is pregnant. What they brew looks good and was being drank by most of the customers there at the time.

Came here on 4th of July because everywhere else was closed. They were understaffed because they did not expect to have a big crowd on the holiday. Their ticket printer ended up breaking down, so everyones food got delayed. Despite all of the commotion, the servers were super nice and apologetic (manager came by our table and told us our first round of drinks were on the house). They have a great selection of beer from in-house beers, craft brews, and domestic. Definitely check this place out!

Try the sour while its on tap... Theres a reason its an award winner. Only food I had was on taco Tuesday, and you know what that means; yum for $2 each. Good service and a pretty simple interior. But lets be honest, youre here for the beer and I can assure you that you wont be disappointed... Even if you are theres a healthy guest tap list and a few imported bottles (orval, chimay, rochefort, bruery, lips of faith)

Like the previous reviewer said, you come here for the beer. They have an excellent selection of some of the highest quality brews available in our state. As for the food, unfortunately, Ive never been satisfied with the quality. Its also a bit pricey for what it is. But the beer is awesome and the service is very friendly, so much so that it still gets them 4 stars despite the bad food.

Beer and food is okay for the price. Not worth what they charge. Think BJs more or less. Pretty busy so service suffers a lot. Our server never really checked up on us and took forever to get the bill. Forget about asking for extra water, napkins, or anything else. A couple times I have called to see if they carried a game, was stuck on hold for 10 minutes. Nightmare for parking.
