Awful Experience(s). Today I went in for dinner. The waitress was not friendly at all. Demanded to know what we were ordering. Never smiled. Brought us our drinks. Had to ask her for a straw. Got the straws thrown at us. I had told the lady if she could keep the food back there considering that I decided to invite my friends with me. She didnt even bother listening to me. Brought my food out. I let it sit there for about 10 minutes. Im ok with that as its my fault. I always order water because Im trying to be a little healthier. Well this time around, I decided to order a Pepsi. Previous times I was told free refills on soft drinks. Previous times Ive had up to three refills. This time, I asked for a refill because I didnt want my friends to feel rushed as I had already completed my food. Well the waitress told me that only one refill per customer and that I would have to pay for a third refill. I said no. If this was on the menu I would have never asked. Anyhow, when I went up to pay, I asked the cashier if there was a limit on Pepsi. She said not that she was aware of. Ask Im trying to express my frustration she has the nerve to interrupt me and ask me how I would be paying. A lady, assuming its a Supv., came to the counter to assist. I advised what was going on and she interrupted me and said there are to be no refills. Refills are a courtesy. I would have accepted this gladly but her tone the way she said it was just full of arrogance. I told her, I have been here for the past three days and no one has ever told me. The previous week I went in two days and wasnt told that either. What they didnt know is that my friend had gone with me to test the food as I was considering to have my wedding reception there but after this im never gng again. Im not even gng to give them a star. I understand the whole refill policy and as a business owner I know it helps financially. What I dont understand is the arrogant tone. I have to put a star or else it wont let me publish but honestly i hate it.

Bad start - Great finish!! Id heard great things about this restaurant and the new waterfront district in Stockton. I was eager to try it for my Fathers Day/Birthday dinner for my family, my parents, and my in laws. We arrived at the restaurant and the host said they would have a table for 8 prepared right away. 10 minutes later, that hostess was no where to be found and no one knew of any table. Not off to a great start. They ended up sticking us in the banquet room with long tables in a row and folding chairs. Okay, maybe we were bigger than most families but really? Im pretty sure they forgot about us again. Another 10 minutes without water or salsa and chips and I finally got up to talk to the manager. He immediately brought out a pitcher of ice water and 10 cups. I drank that myself so we needed more. I think we went through 3 pitchers of ice water (I just played in an exhibition game at Banner Island, home of the Stockton Ports, in 97 degree weather so I was parched). I figured they could only get better from this point. And they did. The server we had was fantastic. She made friends with my 3 year old, remembered and used his name each time she came back and was very friendly to all of us. Then the meals came out fit for a King. I had the #3 Combination and had no idea how much food I was getting until that plate arrived. Chicken Enchilada, Chili Relleno, Chicken Taco, diced steak, diced chicken, rice and beans. Most everything was great but the Chili Relleno was absolutely phenomenal! I could eat a whole plate of just those. Getting hungry just thinking about it. Well give you another try Cancun. Thanks for rounding out our Fathers Day/Birthday.

First, they falsely advertised they are 26 miles from Yosemite Park, when in fact they are 44 miles away. Second, after driving for 4 hours and arriving at 3pm to check into our pre-paid 2 day room thru Kayak, they tell us its not ready and come back after 4pm. We then came back after 6pm only to find the top of the main dresser was sopping wet with something they spilled or did not clean! I called to report it needed to get wiped up and they lady said she couldnt leave the office. We told her we wanted to cancel the second day. She said that we didnt have to stay there, but we were not going to get our money back as it was already in their "system"! Their carpets were filty and you need to keep your feet covered. The next day I woke up with bug bites on my body! I cant blame it on Yosemite because we had not even been there yet! We told the management and they just look at me with no comment. The stay was not worth $170 per night! No deal here, no quality or value for your money. Horrible managers.

Very poor service, RACISM at its finest!!! Local veteran recently enrolled in the Stockton police academy, who has been eating at this restaurant since 1990. Since Ive been home have tried to enjoy a meal at this establishment four times with my wife and children. Ive had to walk out 3 out of 4 times. I have waited until now to right a review out of loyalty to the restaurant and to keep support of a local businesses positive. My children and I were given dirty glasses with rings around them, no silver ware as well as attitude for no apparent reason. I have spoken to management and still no changes have been made. Comments made in Spanish were not appropriate for any place, business or American. As well as cold food, nothing like I grew up on. I plead with anyone who has a continence please do not bring your families or business with such poor service and a horrible rate and review score even prior to my rating.

Its a shame, I love their food. Ive been going to this restaurant for over 20+ years, since they were in the other building before the new movie theatre was built.The last 2-3 years the service has gone down hill drastically and I will not return. The last 3 times I went in I was told to sit anywhere then ignored. The final visit I asked the waitress for help and was told Ill be right back 3 times/ 25 minutes and not real busy. No chips, no menu. I dont need a menu Ive been here multiple dozens of times, I know what I want. I left. Now I will only get orders to go. For sit down I go to Xocholmilco or Marias. Comparable food, way better service.

I hated it, worse service ever. This was my sister and i second time going and we had to wait litteraly an hour just to get our drinks and another hour just to recieve our food and it wasnt even packed. Waitresses were vussing tables, and rude no smile the autmosphere was very tense. When we talked to the manager juan he acted as if he didnt want to hear our complaint and ignored us. NEVER EVER again will we be going there. Oh yea and my niece found a bug on the table and it jumped on her we told the waitress she acted as if oh it was nothing. Not good service at all. Food wasnt that great at all .
