I had take out here twice. The first time I ordered mongolian beef and kung pao chicken. The second time I got mapo tofu and general tsao chicken. In all, the food is pretty disappointing. First of all, the food isnt really that authentic (then again, how many Chinese restaurants in the valley really are?) Everytime I ordered something, I always had to ask the waiter what they put inside the dishes just to make sure theyre cooking it right. Anyways, the kung pao chicken is just okay (although a bit too sweet), the mongolian beef is okay too (but the beef quality isnt really all that great), the mapo tofu is pretty mediocre (bad sauce, along with peas and carrots inside, which is a big no-no), and the general tsao chicken wasnt cooked right (the texture wasnt deep fried at all). In conclusion, I dont recommend this restaurant. The food here isnt really that tasty and the meat quality is pretty shoddy. The food is edible and nothing more

On new years eve I ordered a vegetarian chow seuy with couple of other orders online for pick up. As I am a vegetarian, I was bit skeptical about ordering from a Chinese restaurant. Since I found the reviews for this restaurant good, I went ahead with my order and to be sure, added an extra note saying no meat/ seafood or sauce in vegetarian order. Yet they added chicken in my order and unknowingly I consumed it :( I went back to the restaurant and complained to owner about this. He accepted his mistake and I made him write on the bill about this mistake. I was thinking to use all this to sue this restaurant. Anyways I have calmed down and wont be suing them but for sure I wont be ordering from them again. Writing this review so that next time a vegetarian or a vegan order from this restaurant, they should be extra cautious about their orders and what they get.

Food is a little insipid for my taste but still edible, but my husband and kids liked it. They took about an hour to serve our food, 3 plates of food and there was nobody but us in there. Besides, I ordered some chicken with green beans -I cant recall the name of the plate- but I was served with something different, I let the server know and she immediately apologized and in a very short period of time she brought what I originally asked for. And yes I must acknowledge that if there was something I really liked is that the food was fresh. Since the place doesnt look fancy at all and their food is just good, I never thought their prices would be what they are, a little bit expensive.

SUPER AMAZING AND AWESOME!!!! This is one of my favorite places to eat! My boyfriend and I go here all the time. Their lunch menu is super inexpensive and is a lot of food that includes tea and soup. The food and service is always amazing and I have never had a bad experience here. I have been a regular for about 2 years now and my only complaint is their weird hours. (I like to have lunch at 10 somedays and they are closed on a weekday... i think monday). Other then that I highly recommend them!!!! The orange chicken is AMAZING!!!!! I love this place!!

I just order some shrimp fried rice, mongolian beef, egg rolls and garlic eggplant. The only thing that was remotely good was the egg rolls, the fried rice was terrible not season and the shrimp taste like it was frozen. The Mongolian beef was dry and hard and the garlic eggplant was soggy. I rate the experience as a Dt because they do have good prices and fast delivery. On that note you get what you pay for!!!

When I lived in Los Angeles, my wife and I loved to eat here. Not all Chinese restaurants have Crab Rangoon, but they do and it is excellent at the Bamboo Forest. Their pungent shrimp always tasted fresh and packed a punch. The prices are reasonable and the service was always attentive and prompt. It is a gem in the valley.

Food is prepared fresh in a quick manner, staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. Restaurant is small and quaint, the best hole-in-the-wall Chinese place you can eat at. Lunch specials are SUPER affordable: soup, salad, won ton, egg roll and entree for 5-6 dollars! Go here, you will be pleased!

Checked google for a near by Chinese restaurant and Bamboo forest poped up. I want to start by saying this place is nothing to look at, but nice inside. The food is awesome. And staff friendly. If you want some REALLY good mandarin chinses food this is your place.

I walk down to get the orange chicken ALL the time. I recently had it with the beef fried rice. Ive never had meat so tender at a chinese restaurant. I will always give them my business. And Im a snobby NY foodie lol
