We went based on good online reviews but the egg rolls were so unbelievably greasy my fingers were practically dripping after touching them. The menu said "can" of Sprite but it came from a well. When we asked for a can, they did bring it so they had it all along. I ordered the Aloha Fried Rice (beef, chicken shrimp, pineapple, cashews) -- No beef. I thought I misread the menu but just checked online and it does say beef. Whats up with that? The aloha rice was way too greasy. I told the waiter and the hostess (when they asked) about the super-greasy egg rolls. No one cared. The service was good but not the food. California Wok is better.

Grub hub delivery i dont mind waiting but usually a long wait means lukewarm food. and i was right. the lukewarm steamed dumplings didnt have any soup left in them - so sad! but the filling inside was tasty. i was hoping to get the traditional mapo tofu but they only have the veggie version. the mushroom taste overpowers the delicate tofu but i guess its the point of making it tasty meat-y. it was also a good size portion and i guess i can add in my own ground meat. they give you a lot of rice compared to other places for the price. i normally go with randy bs recs so looks like its better to dine in than do delivery.

Another beyond excellent dinner @ Bamboo last night!! The best Chinese Food in the San Fernando Valley! Not only is the food always delicious, the service is terrific too! The food is ALWAYS delivered to the table piping hot. Our water & hot tea constantly refilled. The entrees are generously sized & always have left overs to take home. The waiters & busboys are all very friendly & smiling. Bamboo is beautifully decorated & the seating whether in a booth or @ a table is always very comfortable. I cant wait to eat my left overs for lunch today! Thanks Bamboo! ❤

I was really bummed by the service tonight. I have food allergies. Ive eaten at Bamboo for years. I was explicit about my allergies which included no nuts. My dish came out topped with nuts. They apologized and said they would remake it. They remade it and it came doubt came out covered with garlic, even though I had said no garlic. The third time was the charm, but Id found that it was not very classy that they didnt take it off my bill. Sad.

Great quality meat! Thats the biggest thing with casual Bamboo Cuisine places. It doesnt feel like Im eating old gristle. The meat is good cuts. Bravo on that. Overall taste is excellent. Exactly what I want when grabbing Bamboo Cuisine of this type. Works great as takeout or dine in. Ive tried quite a few different items at this point. Ive enjoyed them all. Definitely one of the better Bamboo Cuisine restaurants of this type in the city.

I ordered the shrimp fried rice and was amazed by how many shrimp they give you and not those little tiny crap shrimp, the rice was properly cooked and fresh... Everything was done properly and I am pretty picky about Chinese takeout/delivery, recommend this to anyone as it is affordable but still very gourmet.

I have no idea how this place got all those positive reviews. Its horrible food and service. We were just here on a Thursday evening with an empty restaurant, the server was rude, short and unhelpful. The fish we ordered tasted like a frozen microwaved food. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else.

All long time Valley residents know this is the best Chinese food in the Valley, if not the entire city. Youll be hard pressed to find better. I recommend the hot & sour soup, egg rolls, fish in black bean sauce, the Bamboo beef, and, of course, the orange chicken.

besides the atmosphere cant find any good about this place...went there for the good reviews but seriously, the food was nothing but ordinary,... totally fast food quality at a very high price, this place is a joke, save your time and money, go to somewhere else

Bamboo is definitely my favorite Chinese restaurant in LA. Come in a few times and theyll already know you as a regular, along with the food you usually order. Theyre Bamboo Beef is, I believe, the best on the menu - but its really all so, so good.

The proof is not in the pudding but in all the puddings. Our party of 25 all ate at the same time hot, delicious Chinese dishes. Sauces just right. Red chili oil requested and made available. Fast, if almost invisible, service.

Had my first order ever with this restaurant delivered with no napkin, fork, or chopsticks. When I called to point this out, I was told they dont supply such "extras" Needless to say, I wont order from here again! Ridiculous

When we came back from China, we went to Bamboo Cuisine to have some really good Chinese food! Our group didnt go the most expensive places in china, but we had been spoiled by our experiences at Bamboo Cuisine. We love it!
