Unsere Gerichte waren zum einen, "Wokcano Sweet & Sour Pork”; Crispy Chunks of Premium Pork Belly with Bell Peppers, Onions, & Pineapple in Wokcanos Sweet & Sour Sauce und “Lemon Chicken”; Lightly Breaded Crispy Chicken Breast with Fresh Lemon Sauce on Side, beide Essen haben $14.- gekostet.

I have two things to start this review: 1) I dont like writing bad reviews, partly because I feel bad for the restaurant and the chefs, and partly because I have little practice with it. 2) It takes a lot for me to write a bad review. Most places arent necessarily bad, just nothing special. For me, 1 star means really bad, but 2 or 3 stars means not terrible. That being said, this is a 2 because the food was bland. The veges were bland, the chicken was bland, the noodles were bland, the spices were bland. Wait, sorry there were no spices. The good: our server was a pretty chill guy, so he didnt charge us for one of the entrees. That was nice of him! We started with the chili lime chicken wings. The meat was very tender, exactly to my liking. But my eyes caught the "chili lime" on the menu, and both were nowhere to be tasted. I think their idea of chili is to put raw sliced jalapenos (which were spicy, obviously), and their idea of lime is to put sliced lemons in the dish. My friends ordered the Singapore noodles, which seemed like a good dish because it had both chicken and shrimp! Lo and behold, tasteless. Ive never before seen so much sriracha and chili paste added to a dish to enhance the flavor. As for the sushi, my verdict is satisfactory. Not extraordinary, not good; just tasteful at best. The spicy crabmeat tempura roll and the lobster crab roll were definitely eye-catchers on the menu, but I hope there are better sushi items on the menu.

Wait staff, speed of service and all around care and courtesy was amazing and the reason Id ultimately recommend a visit. Atmosphere is nice. Comfortable. Casual. The food was decent. It was not anything to write home about but we liked it. Theres not really a unique theme, just all forms of Asian food. Overall we had a great time. Everyone in my group was really impressed. I guess Ive just had better food in the past and just dont want to overdo it on this review in the case that someone from out of town is hoping for this to be the absolute best restaurant. If you want predictable, affordable and fast cuisine, wackano is perfect for you. Being from out of town, I was hoping for an unique experience and it was more average than I hoped. That said, no reason not to go.

In town working the International Autoshow representing GM....This place was definitely a Great experience. The DJ was off the chain, had us dancing in our seats The food was so tasty. Ive been thinking bout it since I left. It was very affordable. Avg $15 pp. I dont drink or do sushi, but my friends talked about how good it was all night. I had wonton soup. It was delicious. I used regular eating utensils. With no problem. And I later had Mongolian beef. It was to die for. Unforgettable, to say the least. My other friend is vegetarian and he goes 3-4 times a week. The location was close to our hotel, walking distance. The area surrounding seemed safe. The wait staff was very polite and prompt. I think Im goin back ....TODAY! Cant wait!!!

I wasnt seated until my whole party was here. 1 person. The entrance is in the middle of dtla so you see junkies everywhere. I was waiting for my dad to arrive and a homeless woman who appeared to have a mental illness came into the waiting area and intoxicated the room with cigaretter smoke. Not a pretty atmosphere. 1 star for that as well as for the client hospitality. Food. Last time I came here there was a black hair in my chicken teriyaki. I only came back for the crunch roll because cream cheese within it makes the whole experience worthwhile. 4 stars for that.

Happy Hour (3-7) is the best time to go. A number of food items are priced at $3-$8 bucks. The food here is decent for a chain restaurant. Ive had a number of items like the wings, pad thai, and black pepper filet mignon. I would skip on the sushi rolls here. This location is a lot more lively compared to the one in Long Beach and Pasadena. Decor is nice as well. I guess its because its located in DTLA? Take the metro if you can. Parking sucks around this area but theres valet on some nights.

I came on a Friday night for happy hour since I live nearby. I pass it frequently so decided to see if this place was any good even though it is a chain. But it looked nice from the outside so gave it a try. We mostly got sushi rolls which I would say obviously isnt the same standard as sushi at an actual Japanese restaurant. I always know not to go to an Asian restaurant that Asian people wouldnt go too.....Unfortunately this is one of them....

I had the chicken curry with brown rice; the chicken had ligaments still in it. The pieces of chicken were so large, I couldnt eat them with chopsticks. It took forever for them to bring me a fork and a knife. I could have made a better chicken curry dish at home. The knife they brought me was a huge steak knife. Totally over-rated. I had heard it was a good place to eat. I will never dine there again. Uggh!

We called this current location and they denied us do to the fact we are approximately 4.0 miles away. And we always order from this location $150 worth of food and more plus a very fair tip, now all of a sudden were "too far". They told us to call the 3rd street location which is even farther away than they are so it makes no sense as to why they would deny us service. they lost some very loyal costumers

Awesome place for me & my girls-- food was on point (love the monkey brain) & the drinks were delicious (long island ice tea & some sweet drink called the monkey or something, i only remember it being quite tasty lol)! The music had me bouncing in my seat & the waiters/waitresses were on vibe. The 2nd night was not as live but everything was still smooth & the food is awesome. The best for dates!!
