Ive included the review for the Outback in Daly City below. The one bonus of this particular location is that its in Sausalito - so if youre headed north or coming back from a day somewhere outside of SF - then why not stop? Of course, theres an In N Out across the street - or almost across the street...so it may be a toss up. But for me, I love me an Outback steak! "I dont care what people think. I love Outback. The price performance ration just cannot be beat. Period. The steaks are excellent. Sure, theyre not aged beef, but for the price - they are perfect. Just know what youre going for...youre going for a steak fill. Not for a night of martinis and steaks at a fancy place. The salads are always good - the endless warm toasty bread is awesome. And if youve exercised all week - then the Blooming Onion is for you. Now I know they have other things on the menu - but Im not sure why youd go to Outback for anything but steak!"

Im giving this restaurant 1 star because we had terrible service and the most important fact, the server whose name is Jordan stole money from me by adding a tip after I left no tip due to the fact that I absolutely had the worst service experience. The salad was bad no bread took forever to get my food ordered a soda never received it the restaurant was ignored by my waiter he didnt even deliver my food. The staff was talking in the back it was a bad experience. I called a couple of days later because I checked my bank and saw that the order was more than what I wrote on the card receipt. The manger/owner didnt seem to concerned about the issue. BEWARE that restaurant has a thief and if u pay with a card double check your bank statement

In Marin county, getting the value for your money is so hard. This steakhouse is so great and unusual in this regard. You can get a WONDERFUL cut of meat, considering the price you are paying. I have been to so many more expensive places, and it is not anywhere near as good. The service is awsome, especiqally if you are a regular and make friends with Matt, the owner, but even if not. If I had one thing I could improve, those funky lights above the tables have to go...Great quality food, lots of choices even for non-meat eaters. A full bar menu. Great for families with kids. New menu items regularly. And do I have to say PRIME RIB just the way you like it!!!!

First of all, half their dishes are named after Alice Springs, and the server didnt even know who she was. Turns out its a city in the Australian outback. Dinging one star for that. They have a tablet on the table to order apps and play games, but both cost money. There goes another star. We got there on a Sunday after church, and there wasnt even an after-church rush. I personally dont believe in God, but I do believe a place should have a line after church service. Minus one star. Minus one more star for the food tasting terrible, but giving one back for there being a lot of it.

After a nice stroll through the headlands, Outback Steakhouse is a really good choice for that australian atmosphere and great food. The steaks are amazing and also recommend picking up the salad. Remember they give you bread so think again about ordering an appetizer. Ask the waiter/waitress how they like their steak prepared. They have some interesting options and are really tasty. Makes you want it all! Seriously, if you are really hungry get the french fries with cheese and bacon on them or their onion flare.

I havent been to Outback in years, Fridays visit reminded me why. The service was pathetic, the server took our order fairly quickly but left us with spotty silverware, with a couple of dirty knives that were never replaced. After a wait, food came but it wasnt our order. The place was sparsely occupied, so there was no reason for the mixup. After 3 tries with someone elses order, our food finally came. It was OK but overpriced for what we got.

Terrible waiters. We waited 15 minutes for them to clear a table for us and it was not busy at all. Waiter gave us an almost empty bottle of A-1 sauce. His attention span was so short. It took an hour to clear the table next to us. Our waiter complained that he didnt get a tip from two tables from us. Sinful sundae was a joke. I understand now why it wasnt busy on a Saturday night.

A nice place to go with a large party. Good variety of choices. Too bad no veggie burger options! Delicious cucumber vodka drink at the bar. Almost all the tap beer was out tho! A slight mix up in our fish tacos order but it was handled well. Clean. Friendly staff. Desserts look like they are putting some thought in them. Plenty of free parking is an added benefit in this area.

Not sure if this was an off day for this Outback...But walked in the door at 12:10p, got seated right away, ordered everything when the waiter stopped by the first time...Then waited an hour for anything to come out (drinks included...And we just got coffee and Pepsi). Never a check up, had to flag wait staff down several times because of several issues...

Stephanie the Proprietor cared for every detail for my buddy and myself. I have never been her restaurant, but i was impressed with the food and service. The baby back ribs fell off the bone, the meat was tender and juicy. The service was equally impressive, we didnt feel rushed, nor neglected. See you soon Stephanie, with more friends!

Stephanie at Outback is to be thanked for her generous donation to Peace Luthern Church & Paster Ricky in Mill Valley for the visit from deCycles Pacific Coast 2016 tour. They fed & housed 60 hunger teenagers and adults from Indiana as they passed the 1000 mile mark on their 1700 mile ride from Seattle to LA.

Dirty plates & utensils, salad had rock hard croutons, server had BIG Attitude not friendly. Air vents had a huge pile of dust/lint from ceiling. No offer of refills on soda. Huge change from where we normally dine, Roseville off of Sunrise! No paper in zosik for receipt! This location REQUIRES ATTENTION!

Friendly service. I had the salmon with bacon. It came with a delish sauce. Being Fathers Day it was quite busy and unusually slow service . The salmon was a tiny bit overcooked, but not bad. Maybe it sat under the warming light too long? I also had the Pecan Chopped Salad... Wonderful! Drinks were spot-on!

Nice decor, friendly staff and timely service. Drove from SFO to Marin cause a friend of mine told me to try it out. We ordered Passionate Punches for drinks, and food off the special "No Worries" menu, because it was a Wednesday. The steakhouse Mac is so good!!!
