Usually love this place. Great food. But tonight we waited an hour for two pizzas. After 45 minutes, Cody started paying attention and we managed to get our first refill of water and ordered 2 cokes to keep us going. It was obvious theyd forgotten our ticket since the kitchens open. He went over, and pizzas came within 15 minutes. When he asked if we needed anything else, I told him a half ticket comp for a one hour pizza would be appropriate. We never even got an apology for the time, and he didnt even comp the 2 cokes that we ordered only because he took so long. So sad to lose a good restaurant because they cant handle the orders correctly, and dont know how to recover from a mistake.

I cant speak to the actual physical restaurant or ambiance therein, as I experienced Rosso Pizza en plein air during a fundraising/art event at a Sonoma winery. But the review requires each section be given a number rating, so good. . . Moving on! Rosso has a fantastic mobile service: they haul a wood burning pizza oven on a trailer out to an event, and make their amazing thin crust, wood fired pizza on the spot! It was fabulous. Open air dining in the most gorgeous spot with expansive views of green rolling hills and vineyard terraces, wine flowing freely, and Rossos hot out of the oven pizza - perfection!

This place is a diamond in the rough. Seriously ridiculously good. I cant stress it enough. The food is awesome. The place is located in a shoping mall, and you wouldnt expect anything, but once you get inside, the place is transformed into an awesome dining experience. Atmosphere (once inside) is awesome. FOOD is incredible. Great wine list, great beers on tap (although the selection is small-- the beers are usually all delicious) and what they dont have on tap they have by the bottle. I havent had anything on the menu I didnt love. The pizza specials are amazing....as are the piadinis. Enjoy.

Somehow we had never been to Rosso--but we will make up for that. Popular and crowded, but for good reason. We waited for 20 minutes at 6:30 but had a glass of wine and an outside table, so we were good. Great staff--attentive and funny--that helped us make our picks: Caprese Salad, Smoked Sausage Pizza, and Fried Chicken with Polenta (our special request). Maybe this sounds ordinary, but believe me, the preparations were housemade, fresh as can be, local, delicious and unique in each case (visit for details!). No dessert--no problem: have another glass of wine!

Caesar Salad Piadine!!!! I am by any definition of the word "obsessed". I go get one or 2 of these, lets just say, way more often than I should. And I never burn out on them like I hoped I would. Pizza is very good as well, I love pizza, but this darn Piadine has taken over my life. Great staff and nice place, but as long as they serve me my sweet Caesar Salad Piadine, the restaurant could be in a dirty gym locker with physically abusive staff and I wouldnt care.

Im so happy to see that this place has beat the odds... Despite what I feel is a less than optimum location, these guys have thrived. Its a testament to their dedication and competence - Ive eaten here at least five or six times since they opened and their staff and their food has been constantly great!! When I am asked for a restaurant recomendation by someone they are usually my first choice.. Great food, ample wine and beer selection all at a great price

Rosso was recommended by our hotel staff and driver. Small place in an unassuming strip center. We were pleasantly surprised! Nice crowd. For dinner, my partner and I shared the salumi pizza and a bottle of Malbec. While we were finishing up our wine, the waiter brought a little cheese dish for us to have with the wine. Very thoughtful and unexpected! Will return.

My absolute favorite restaurant. The kind of place where, even if youre unsure of the ingredient combo in a dish, you are delighted by every bite. Cant choose wrong. Legit the best fried chicken I have ever had. And they have something for every level of hunger from light to rich. Love the burrata trio, capo salad, Moto Guzzi pizza.

Top notch wood-fired pizzas but insiders know the real draw here are daily specials that range from spaghetti and meatballs to seafood risotto, braised pork and fried chicken. Its not a cheap pizzeria, but instead an upscale trattoria and cafe thats as hip as it is delicious. Dont miss the burrata, a favorite of many a critic.

Ate here for the first time last week. I was presentably surprised at the level of flavor they were able to give me with this crab, noodle dish. yumm! I also tried the meat balls as an appetizer, they were delicious. and came in an order of 3. It was enough to satisfy two of us while we waited for our food to arrive.

Super leckere pizza mit dünnen krossen Teig und super salate! Aber auf jeden Fall die Finger vom Espresso lassen...der war absolut ungenießbar!

In general we have a good experience at Rosso, so I keep going back. Occasionally weve had some overdone pizzas, but those are the exception. I especially like the piadine and salad combos--tasting pizza dough topped with a fresh salad (try it with the Caesar).

Im blown away by the service we receive here. The servers are attentive, and the food is delicious. My husband loves to order a margarita pizza with raw prosciutto and I like to try all their different amazing pizzas. My kids LOVE the kids menu too.

The first really good Margherita pizza Ive had in Santa Rosa (and way better than the one had in Venice, Italy). Cheap draught beer flight. Overall good eats and nice room. Sit near the open pizza oven on a cold night to stay warm.

Really enjoyed the meal. The Capo salad was simple but the flavors were light and delicious. The green beans that came with the Calamari were equally delicious. We ordered 3 pizzas: Margherita, Salumi, Moto Guzzi. All 3 were good.

Great wood-fired pizza, killer appetizers and a great wine selection (though their wines are a little warm). Their bucatini and meatball is great. Kids can get raw dough to shape and have fired in the oven.

The place is a bit crowded and the pizza is a bit over priced, but the pizza is good. They certainly arent your average pizzas. They serve gourmet pizza, which some of it I like and some is so so. Its OK.

Enjoy the futbol games on the flat screens while you have some of the best pizza in the county, and make sure that someone at the table asks for the "Goomba", even if its not on the menu.

The rice flour-crusted fried chicken is fantastic regardless of its gluten-free pedigree. Great food, good service. Easily on our "when were in town, work in a visit" list from here on.

Pizza is good. Caesar is amazing. Cant think of somewhere Ive had a better Caesar. Pizza is a bit hyped I think. The ingredients are ok, but the execution could be better.
