On Sunday, 11/15 my 6 yr old son was assaulted by the manager, Tom F. He was looking at the bottles on the patio railings 10 feet from us while we were waiting for the check. He did touch but wasnt being reckless in the least. The manager, in full view of my family and three other families grabbed my son, twisted his arm as he removed it and my kid, burst into screams from pain. Most kids, when scolded, will hold onto their tears until they get to mom or dad. My kids cries were immediate. If you have kids you know what Im saying. When I approached the manager, I said that his actions were inexcusable. He denied it completely. I mentioned that there were three other families that saw it and I wanted to speak with someone else. I asked for his name and the owners name. He said his name was Tom. When I asked for his last name he said he was the only Tom. When I asked again, reminding him that denying me his name only made things worse, he said his name was "Tom F" - is this guy really trying to limit his liability by not giving me his full name? Sad. My kid can take it. The question is, does this manager get to keep his job and do this again to someone elses kid? David: A law suite for foreign objects in food could cost tens of thousands. How much would it cost you if someone sued for assaulting their little boy? Is it worth keeping Tom F for that kind of risk?

First of all, this place is not really a Brewing Company. They have only one beer that they make, and it isnt even made at this location. My husband and I stopped in here during our stay in Monterey looking for a quick bite and some good craft beer. We ordered the mini corndogs, which were delicious and ordered a beer each. I ordered a coffee porter, and was brought a beer that was definitely not a porter (still good, but very very strong (probably an american strong ale) and was more amber in color). We asked our waiter and he assured us that yes, indeed it was a coffee porter, and then offered to get us something else. Im not sure if the wrong beer was just poured or the keg lines were switched, but something was wrong for sure. He then charged us close to $30 for my beer, which was entered incorrectly and had to be fixed. Overall, the food was good and the outdoor patio with the fireplaces is nice, but we had a much better experience at another actual "brewery" downtown and probably wouldnt be back to this location.

Brendan was our waiter. He provided top flight service. My lady and I were greeted by a friendly receptionist and sat out by the fire pitts before we got our table. The waiter, looked a lot like Clark Kent, forget his name, recommended some great beer and looked disappointed when we moved inside....like he actually was enjoying our company. I got this burger that was worthy of its own bible verse. The long Island iced tea was the second best I ever had since the first one I ever tried when I was a wee babe. My girl got this braised beef grilled cheese where they let the outer cheese toast on the skillet so it lays and becomes crispy. They serve it to you that way so you get crispy cheese chips that can be broken off with your sandwich. I got this jar full of chocolate cake, fudge, ice cream, and caramel that was worth the 12 dollars that I shared with my girl. They had live music playing Friday night which was appropriate and not to loud for the seen. I look forward to coming here again.

Ive never written a bad review before. So this was hard for me to write. My husband and I are big craft beer fans so, the only thing that was good with our experience was the beer selection. My burger, which I ordered well done, was burned. Our buns were so dry that we opted to eat the burgers without the buns. Your probably wondering why we didnt send it back... it took a long time to get our food (on a Wednesday night) and we were starving. Our fries were so burnt and hard that we couldnt eat them either. Ive never been so dissapointed. The sad part is we took our friend from out of town here and it turned out not great. She didnt get her coke after ordering it and then when she finally did the waitress didnt come back to offer a refill. We had to ask her. Hopefully our experience was just a fluke... but I would never eat here again.

Specialty is definitely their beers and NOT their food. We came to cannery row brew co on our first time to Monterey and were very disappointed. We ordered the spinach artichoke dip which is one of our favorite appetizers, it fell short because the chips were very stale. I ordered the French onion soup which tasted good, but was 75% bread and 25% soup which is not my ideal proportion. My boyfriend ordered a classic bacon cheeseburger which was way over seasoned and very greasy - he upgraded to the garlic fries which came out cold and also very greasy. I had the appetizer chicken fingers which were just okay. Overall it was way over priced for the quality of food - over $50 for the two of us. Would not recommend this place to anyone.

It was alright. Service was good, even though some biker rally was going on in the area and it was jam packed. The front end staff/hostesses could have worked a little harder at not looking bored, but out server (I cant remember his name, but he was a younger kid and had a goofy circa 1970s haircut) was really quite nice and attentive. Cant say much for the food however as it was really rather greasy. And while it is just my opinion, that obnoxiously loud music they play for "atmosphere" is a hindrance to what could have been enjoyable conversation. Had it been a few decibels lower it would have been alright. Overall I can only give em 2 and a half stars out of 5...

Weve always had very good service with each server, last night, Tricia. She was happy, prompt, well-informed, accommodating. You can really get your burgers cooked they way you want, even if its medium rare. Ours arrived perfectly cooked. Juicy and flavorful, as well. They use very good meat. We appreciate nice meals and a good experience when we go out. I am sorry for the negative reviews, all goes back to whos in charge (at the time). Owners need to be careful, mindful when wanting to build a business. Well certainly go back, thanks Tricia, food runner & kitchen staff! This isnt an actual brewery. All of their beer is imported and expensive. They have a wide selection of beer, but its $5 for a Coors Light...really? The average price of a pint was around $8. The service was quick and friendly, the atmosphere is pretty neat and the decor is fun. The pulled pork sandwich was big but it soaked the bottom bun through and fell apart. They had a good house salad with a citrus vinaigrette. I can see why people like this place, but overall Id rather hit up some other local joints for a good glass of beer.
