A well maintained coffee shop with an industrial/high ceiling look to it. I believe they bake everything in house. They have fresh made breakfast items (scrambles, egg on toast etc) with a touch above the standard fare. The coffee is good too. I would have normally given 4 stars but was impressed with how effectively the manager/owner handled a "change order" situation that caused a bit of confusion between me and one of the workers. She stepped in, listened to what I had to say and without me asking went above and beyond to get things sorted. This is how customer service should be and deserves a five star.

Always a pleasure! Feels like a secrete hideaway on the Westside. Cafe Iveta is the unicorn of coffee shops. Too often a shop has great coffee but horrible stale baked goods or good coffee and baked good but horrible staffing issues. Iveta has everything I want in a morning/lunch stop. The staff is always friendly, the coffee has the flavor and feel of a European cafe, and the food is both unique and sooo tasty. Love you Cafe Iveta... Part of me enjoys your hideaway but another part of me wishes you had a more central location so more people could enjoy your great food.

This is my all time favourite café in Santa Cruz. I love the atmosphere of the west side location (at Delaware), its such a great place to go have coffee while you read a book, read a newspaper, or get some work done. The staff is award-winning and the mood of the place is really warm and welcoming. My favourite things to order are the mint-lime spritzer and the caprese sandwich. Those particular things can get a little pricey but if youre just looking for a coffee and a pastry (also super delicious), the prices are reasonable.

Cute place but terrible service. After ordering and providing a nice tip upfront, we had to ask the food delivery person to wipe off our table top and take away the old dishes. Then, when she delivered our food, it came with no napkins, salt or pepper shakers, and a bit of attitude. As we bused our own dishes on the way out, I couldnt help but wonder - what exactly did we tip for? A little less attitude and better service and this place would be ideal for breakfast or lunch.

I love this place. Its clean and perky unlike most places in SC (the clean part). They have great egg dishes for breakfast and an awesome gluten free bread. I just wished they stayed open late into the evening. Its hard to get some work done because it gets interrupted when they close. And it would just be nice to hang out there later.

Seriously if you havent had a scone from Iveta you dont know what a scone taste like. Far and away the best scones. Food is great, (egg biscuit with bacon is heavenly) coffee is delicious and the price is right! Love the outdoor patio too. Did I mention they serve beer and wine, whats not to love?

Scones. Its all about the scones here. And this is the place to go for amazing scones. If you cant decide on just 1 scone, go for the bread pudding. That way, you can have a mix of several scones drenched in delicious caramel sauce.

Decent place for a quick lunch. The specialty sandwiches are unique and tasty (I like the veggies, provolone, and pesto). Good coffees and dessert pastries, including their famous scones (which sell out in the afternoon).

Its pricey but I love the great cappuccinos, yummy sandwiches and quiet, clean, modern ambiance. Worth it if you need to set up camp with a good coffee for a few hours.

There are truly a lot of good bakeries in Santa Cruz, but this one is the best. Try the spicy egg biscuit, the belini, and the cinnascone. You wont regret it!

One of the best places to get a cup of coffee and a pastry and sit in the sun or come with your laptop and get a few things done in the loft

One of my favorite places in SC. I love their drip coffee and scones but most importantly the owners and the staff. Molte grazie!

Very cozy. Egg bagel was nice. A bit squeezed inside, but theres a really nice patio outside, so stay there if weather permits.

Overall quite good breakfast food, but probably a little overpriced for what is typically served. Occasionally inconsistent.
