My FAV drink is an almond granita which is there version of the frappuchino. Try it with Almond you wont be disappointed! I always ask for extra almond. They have really yummy breakfast items (like bagels, waffles, biscuits and gravy), sandwiches, soup, smoothies, snacks and even strawberry shortcake! It is a coffee hut in a parking lot (McDaniels lot) but it is a BIG one! Its red and looks like a barn. What I like (besides the almond granita of course...LOL) is that you can even go inside to eat!! There are 2 small rooms of tables & chairs. They also have a couple patio tables and the building is next to big trees so its always shaded and cool inside too!! Its very peaceful and quiet but a fun atmosphere if you were to meet up with friends. They have ice cold water for free, a bathroom and even magazines and tabloids to look at. You must try them out! Oh and try the almond granita w/ extra almond...LOL

The biscuits and gravy are delicious. So is the homemade energy drinks. The reason I am writing this review is the customer service. They used to be good. The last time I went there not only was the owner there but their were 2 other girls for sure. All 3 of them were conversing and it took awhile before they even said hello. Afte they finally said hi they asked what we wanted and left it at that. There was no customer service. At a coffee stand to succeed the expectation would be good customer service. Dont know why they were not trying.

Ive gone to Java Haus since I was little. Even though times have changed, I still love coming here. Its a great little cafe. My husband and I came here a lot while we were dating since we could walk there. He loves it too. Prices are reasonable, coffee is great, and the baristas make you feel welcome. :)

All of the hot sandwiches are heated in the microwave, the water and soda are warm and kept in a fridge that is not on. The girls are very slow and dont seem to care, almost as if they are annoyed by you just being there. This place seems like it would be good till you go in.

For my recent birthday in September, my barista gave me a free coffee, to treat me. I really appreciate her for that, since swearing off Starbucks. Awesome service!
