A large brown frayed canvas camping tent in a random parking lot had a flea market feel, that shifted to homeless shanty, then hippy stoner harambe, but emerged as a coffee trailer, tucked inside, with bright, pretty, clean and friendly young baristas who served us with fast efficiency. "Do you have drip coffee?" I sleepily queried. "Its aeropress." The handsome young man informatively replied with no pretension. Hands repetitively clapped in my monkey brain as he deftly poured hot milk into my friends cappuccino with a hand gestured undulating wave that revealed an artful milk laced mandala design on top of a light brown coffee. "Did you use a stick to make that?" I large eyed. "No." He said with a matter of fact humbleness. This is my kind of Austin. Underneath quiet shade trees near the park on 29th street and Guadalupe, where one night 25 years ago we wondered, in a stoners perplexity, if the pink dusk in the sky was an ominous supernatural illumination from a taco cabana. We sat on a park bench and discussed art, which the coffee added a superb heavenly stimulus accompaniment. $6 for 2 delicious coffees. Wonderful Grafitti mural on the building adjacent to the parking lot. If you get hungry, Spider House is right next door. The pink illumination we had witnessed years ago, as I see it now, was indeed a sign of Austins insidious commercial development, but thankfully authentic Austin places in keeping with its magical soul, like this brew house have survived and outlasted such disastrous occurrences of the Citys ironic success.

I met some people while waiting in line at another bakery and they told us to check this place out. Its basically a very spacious 2-story coffee/tea shop that has a nice view on the second floor. I wasnt planning on getting anything, but since we were here, I decided to get the everything croissant with cream cheese, smoked ham and Gruyere morning bun, and a pistachio croissant with blackberry jam. I didnt realize until afterwards that their pastries are made by Neighbor Bake house. All of the baked goods were pretty tasty, but I think they are known more for their coffee! Looks like a nice place to study or just relax and/or catch up with friends.

So far I have tried the ginger latte and the coconut latte, and let me tell you these were the best lattes I have ever had. Hands down. They dont flavor their lattes with syrup they use real ingredients and the taste reflects it. Definitely my new go-to coffee spot in Austin. Delicious drinks served by incredibly kind people, I only wish there was a brick and mortar where I could hang out all day!

Yesterday, my depression reared its ugly head once more. As I drove with my thoughts, lost in a fog of my own making, the urge to consume something delicious hit me. So I drove to coffee Kiosk, it being a very nice place. The staff treated me with care, and genuine empathy, and that single point of kindness with a stranger helped me drag myself out of my own head and feel connected. So thank you.

Just visiting from Phoenix Arizona and needed some coffee. Coffee kiosk was just a mile from our hotel, but was closing in ten minutes! The two Baristas were helpful and courteous even though we ordered drinks close to closing time. Got a mocha and a caramel latte. Both were great and the espresso is awesome! Definitely stop by if in the area. Good coffee, good service, good prices.

They steal your money, so only pay cash if you dare to go.Iv only been twice and beside from friendly serive, they let me pay extra for espresso shots they didnt even put in. And then the second time i was charged not only for my drink, but for 2 other transaction i didnt even do. One for 4$ the other for 3$. I would not recommend it and i will never go there again.

Not kidding when I say this coffee is way better than Starbucks. I went to Starbucks today and immediately regretted it because ck coffee is well made and I dont have to put sugar in my latte. The staff at railroad are very nice every time I go . This staff in Lyons need to be nicer . Wasnt very pleasant.

This is not just a kiosk, this is the COFFEE. KIOSK. I have never had coffee like it before, and since Ive been going there my days have started SO much better! I love it here, too bad for the service though! Lmao! Just kidding! 5 thumbs it, its perfect!!!!

Hubbykenny. Had lymphoma cancer and we would go there everyday and order a peanut butter rush hubbykenny died july 18 its been seven months. Eventually. I will go and have one in his memory honor that coffee was putting weight on him for a bit
