I gave it another chance, hoping the rudeness exhibited by the owners was a temporary thing the first 2 times. (Never know what people are going through, right?) Im back after 7 months and I still had a luke-warm experience. I spent $13 today and let the owner know Id be back all week as my WiFi connection is being transferred to my new digs next week. I have gluten and dairy intolerance. I happily paid for the gluten-free hot dog bun (they were out of GF bagels) for my breakfast sandwich but was it necessary for her to give me a guilt-trip about topping my drip coffee off with half an inch of soy? (I did pay $1 for the refill.) Both times, she gave me a barely tolerant look and schooled me on the cost of alternative milk. (Okay, once was bad enough but I already told you I owned a coffee shop in the past, lady. I know the cost of soy is 1.5 times that of dairy, not 4 times.) It is so cold in this cafe that my toes are freezing inside my tennis shoes. I feel when someone orders a drip coffee and asks to pay for a refill that you should expect them to top the coffee off with something. I added NO sugar, just a bit of soy. Each time I have been here, the owners are rude to someone. It may explain why its never full. Ill be spending my money in other local shops. I really tried to like this one.

Coffee is delicious, staff is friendly and so kind. They even deliver the treats to your table with a smile. It is such a refreshing change from the franchised formula of the big coffee shop chains with a name call and how fast can we get you out of here vibe. The atmosphere is great for getting work done or studying. The staff is what makes this even more awesome!

Didnt offer flat whites, didnt know what flat whites are. When I described what flat whites are, the cashier kindly offered to make it. Unfortunately, the barista chastised me because the cashier did not charge me extra for adding foam, and she gave me a cup that not only wasnt a flat white, but tasted really awful, and was undrinkable. Wont be back. Ever...

I love giving small shops a chance, but this one burned all 5 if them. They are incredibly slow (10-15 minutes to make a blended drink) and the coffee never tastes the same. There always seems to be problems with some piece of equipment and the prices are a little high for what you get. Its unfortunate...

I love everything about this place. The pictures of the old Jazz players are my favorite. Great coffee and every time Ive been there, Ive always had good service. Im getting sick of the same corporate places in every city and think its great to have a unique coffee shop to hang out at in Simi!

Love their gluten free pumpkin bread! Its such a treat since its hard to find baked goods worth eating when theyre gluten free. Also, the staff are really great to talk to. You build bonds with everyone there and it feels like coming into a home away from home. Nice and comfy!

Finally, a welcoming, family owned coffee business in Simi Valley. Really good coffee and the gluten free pastry was so delicious that I swore it had gluten. Would be 5 stars if some of the chairs were in better condition, but still will be a regular coffee destination.

Very nice coffee shop with good atmosphere and knowledgable staff. I had an Americano and was impressed with the skill demonstrated by the server, a nice young man named Asa. I would definitely recommend coming here to hang out, read, or study.

This coffee shop has the best pulled pork sandwich and my girlfriend swears by the cherry Danish and mocha frappe. I just took a bite and will stand by her on that statement. Sure way to cure your girlfriends "hangry".
