Pillars Café is the brand new cafe (with attached bookstore) at Shepherd Church, across the street from Walmart on Rinaldi. As of this review, they have been open just a couple of weeks. And Ill state for the record here at the top...I attend Shepherd, but this review will be as objective as possible. MENU As of now, Pillars is still in their "soft open" period; they are adding and rotating menu items as they figure out what will become permanent menu fixtures. They feature cooked-to-order breakfast and lunch items from their full service kitchen--not just pre-made grab-and-go items. So far, omelettes, huevos rancheros, turkey clubs, and brioche sliders are among the made-to-order menu items. The bacon burger is excellent! They also feature Copa Vida coffee and espresso drinks for coffee connoisseurs. Personally, I prefer carbonated drinks, so the self-serve Pepsi Spire machines with additional flavor shots have been fun to experiment with. AMBIENCE Pillars is nice inside with many tables, two large family tables, and a couple of more plush seating areas with couches and arm chairs. But its the outside areas that make Pillars so unique. There are tables near a bubbling water wall under a giant "jumbrella", a fire table with cushioned bench seating, and three fire pits with Adirondack chairs. On nicer Southern California days, the outdoor areas are where youll want to be. Pillars also plans to feature live bands in the future. SERVICE Super friendly. :-) WIFI Free! NUTSHELL I am excited that the north valley has such a beautiful new spot for breakfast, quality coffee, music and more!

Friendly staff. Spacious! Easy parking. Great space with plenty of tables inside and outside for individuals and groups. Menu offers your coffee favorites, baked goods and hot menu items like breakfast burritos, omelettes and burgers cooked to order. Wow! Check it out!
