I took my daughter here for lunch and when we first entered, it was very simple and very clean, fairly small, and the cashier that took our order was very nice and answered all of our questions and was very patient since this was our first time here. My daughter ordered a bean and cheese burrito. It was huge, and she said it wasnt the best shes had but she would absolutely come back and have it again. The part she liked most about it was that it was not greasy whatsoever. We also ordered their nachos (chips and cheese only) and those were about $4 and were just okay. We probably will pass on these in the future though. I tried their Super burrito that came with a choice of meat, beans, guacamole, sour cream, and lettuce/tomato. I ordered mine with refried beans (no meat) and the rest of the toppings. It was enormous! It was quite good, not greasy, and around $8 or $9. It was very refreshing and reminded me of a fresca-type style, not heavy or greasy like traditional Mexican food. I also ordered the Super taco which was the same toppings as the Super burrito with choice of beans and meat. I held the meat, chose refried beans, and went with the rest of the toppings. It has a double layer of soft corn shell and it was also good, but I liked the Super burrito better. It cost about $6 for the taco. They have a wide selection of items on their menu but only serve a few different foods (tacos, burritos, nachos for the most part). If I were to compare this place to another, it would be Chipotle and if you dont like eating there, I would not recommend this place. Our bill for her burrito, my burrito, our nachos, our taco, and two drinks was around $30. We honestly ordered more food than we normally would for the sake of trying different things on their menu, but overall the price was fair for the food, it was fairly good, and it was ready within five minutes after ordering it. We will likely be back, but it wasnt so good that it tops our list of places we love to eat at. I would recommend it if you want Mexican food that is on the more refreshing and less costly side.

No La Vics but 5 stars nonetheless. I know people often compare the two, but to me these places are totally different. La Vics feels like a super authentic super mexican taqueria. All good; but Iguanas on the other hand has the look and feel of something more american. More...gimmicky. But the food, the food aint gimmicky at all. just good quality, large burritos that will make you full or at the very least regret getting the super iguana. ProTip: California Style and a Horchata on the side. Rock and roll.

Shortly after dining at Iguanas my credit card was compromised on Wednesday, July 6, at 1245 hours PDT. It is not clear if the credit card machines at this establishment are the root cause of the fraud activity, but the message is meant to inform the owner and assist the relevant parties to investigate. My financial institution will reach out to the involved stakeholders. I will update this review if it turns out that the machines at Iguanas are clean.

I really love their menu a fresh take on american Mexican food fun place to.eat especially for.kids or a group a friends with a big appetite...... I wish they could expand so that larger groups and couples could dine it was quite cramped like a normal taqueria....... Their hot sauce was super spicy in a good way like in a hot curry sauce good....Ill be going back today I had the super tacos they were amazing in chicken and steak.

Been to this place yesterday. I am a Vegetarian and made it clear to them, still i got piece of chicken. Would have thought as mistake, but when i saw the pieces of meat in rice container from adjacent container falling in means they dont take Hyginice and allrgiec things seriously. When talked to them they didnt care about it. They were not even apologetic. Wont ever visit again to this place. I threw away all the food.

Good simple selection of Mexican food. The burritos are well sized for the price and a good selection of different meats. I kept it simple with Carne Asada and really enjoyed it. Definitely get the orange sauce. Awesome flavor that has a kick that follows. I also got the regular nachos with cheese and jalapeños. Awesome portion size of chips, cheese, and jalapeños for just $4.

Carnitas were decently cooked but lacked flavor. The El pastor was better. They had 4 good local beers on tap but two were kicked. Seating was flexible for our large group. Service was quick. Bathroom was basic but functional. Menu doesnt include any low carb or no carb options other than salad. I was hoping for some Carne asada with grilled vegetables or something similar.

Solid choice for quick Mexican style food. Portions were a good size, ingredients seemed fresh, and the counter service was fast. They have a signature sauce that seems similar to some kind of a spicy ranch dressing. Happy hour is when you will get the best value on a signature item with beverage in the middle of the afternoons between the lunch and dinner rushes.

Very basic place, but good menu item. Vegetarian person like me, had enough options to enjoy. Very good portion size. The best things I admired this place is they do not use lard. If you like tomato as "salsas", order salsa and chips. Otherwise you wont go wrong with Guacamole and Chips. I have not tried any deserts, was pretty full after dinner.

Love this place! The tiny tacos and their orange sauce is soooo good! Be careful its really spicy but its smokey flavor is amazing. You end up pretty much dousing your food with all their orange sauce. The food itself too has a lot of flavor and isnt overcooked like most popular Mexican restaurants. Will definitely keep coming back here.

This place is ok. Theyre known for having big burritos. And the prices arent bad :). This place leans more towards the college crowd and I think someone from the food network visited the original location. Its been awhile but the nacho fries were decent after taking a final or test. And the staff were pretty nice too :)

Its the sauce. They have an amazing sauce that completely compliments the condiments in nearly all of their offerings. Feeling extra hungry? Try their burritozilla, around 4 times the length of a typical San Francisco style burrito! Definitely a place to go to if you want to feel stuffed coming out the door.

Well I ordered a AL Pastor regular burrito. I got a burrito with beans and rice. Of the less than ounce of marinated pork it was dry, crunchy at times and tasted like, well just pork. Maybe it was a bad day and it was my first time. I will give them one more shot and re post if I have a better experience.

Freaking love their sauce. I usually order the super burrito with chorizo or the nacho fries with chorizo. I tried their super iguana before and that was a challenge for me so I cant imagine ever getting the burritozilla. The sauce has gotten a little spicier than before but it is still delicious!
