Hi usually I dont do this but I had to, since I really feel like it ruined my Valentines Day well we went here because weve been to other buffets and its usually very good. We were hungry and we were around this area. I have two children so we went here so we can all get what we want. We walked in and it did seemed like another good home town buffet but when it came to the food part, it was a disgusting disaster all the food looked like left overs. There was also no varieties of meats, no varieties of pasta, there where only two kinds of pasta and the whole place need a lot of cleaning food everywhere on the floor. Also a while passed before there were any clean cups to get soda. Another really important matter was when I had to take my son to the bathroom there was absolutely no soap in any of the three sinks. so how does the staff wash there hands when handling the food. Im still Really upset and will never be going back to this hometown buffet. Went home instead to cook something, I Had to comment so no goes through this bad experience or waste there money for something thats not worth it.

Well, let me start by saying that I used to work for hometown buffet. I worked for this company for twelve years. I worked for different locations, including this one on 17th street. I truly recommend this location not only because its a great store but because of the people that work there. Theres a great team of staff, starting with the managers. I personally know the General Manager Veronica Vences, and I can say that shes a very hard worker, she puts her heart and life in her job. Everyday that I worked with her, she amazed me on how dedicated she is to her job. Shes a perfectionist, smart, hard worker, kind human being. Of course I cannot end this review without mentioning cashiers, cooks, dishwashers, line servers, janitors, bakers, servers, all these people are the best and most hard worker employees you will ever meet...when you walk in this location youre getting served with the best food and staff in town, no doubt. Go ahead, give it a try I guarantee youll be back, cant go wrong with this Hometown buffet

I have eaten at that particular location since the other one that was located at Bristol and Warner has closed down and I love the larger variety of food the one on 17th street has to offer. The food overall tastes fresh and well cooked. And the same with the beverages. I like their selection. And the prices; especially for breakfast is quite reasonable and the same for lunch and dinner. It beats the prices at both Dennys and Norms. The staff at the 17th street location are very friendly and helpful. I will never grow tired of Hometown Buffet. Theyre the best.☺

Some of the clean up staff are great, but the food is mediocre. Sometimes they have the good dishes IF the cook is cooking it. If not, then you miss out on the steak and other main dishes. This has happened to me on many occasions. I had ask the staff why werent they doing the Cinnabon and they said Cinnabon is only in the morning now. The ice cream machine is always broken. I am curious if all of them are like that or is it just this one.

I had not been there in a while... I came with my daughters and nice. Salad bar was good. But the rest of the food was as cold as the salad bars. My beans were burn, shrimp too salty. Dinner rolls un cooked. Pastrys stale. Definately a nasty experince. And to top it off i had lemonade that taste like drain water that made me throw up my food.. Disgusting. Went to see the lemonade machine and it was dirty inside.. Dont waste your money..

Its like every other cheap buffet; super salty, over cooked, and greasy. The customers are rude, the staff look like they want to hang themselves, and there are a hundred small children running all over the place. My only real complaint is that drinks cost $2.50, seems a little too expensive, but I suppose thats where all the profits are generated. Keep your expectations low, and youll be fine.

Hate your life? Then this is the place to eat away your sorrows or even drink your little diabetic butt to death with unlimited icees and cheesecake. Everything you can think of is here. Meat loaf? they got it. Steaks? How thick you want it? Diabetes? Ho ho got a full table of it and for whatever reason you got one of those rabbit people they have a full table of lettuce and other green stuff.

Rude service at pay desk with older lady. Not very friendly, didnt even greet us, it almost made me turn around and leave, I should have because dinner seemed more like lunch, way over priced for the bad quality of food. I given this place way too many chances because of my kids, very dissapointing in every aspect. Never coming again.

We showed one afternoon to smash the buffet. Hometown is one of those places where it sounds like a good idea till your finished eating. Then you regret it, but you continue the decision to continue to go again and again. It is like you forget you once walk out that door. So I will be back to Hometown Buffet soon. #CAM

When i got here they said fountain was out for a hour, but would have individual bottled soda so still paid for a drink. 30 min into meal, drinks were finally brought out, Cheap manager only got shasta its now past the hour still no fountain drinks. And what was brought up is now flat or gone.

Very disappointed on the nanager Anthony rude and wouldnt valid my coupons on a party of 14 people wont come back only good thing I can say is that the person cleaning was running from table to table picking up and very happy doing her job
