Winner winner chicken dinner. Yeah, thats how good I feel when I eat here. I know that doesnt sound like a lot since that phrase came from the 60s when a $2.00 win would cover the 3 piece chicken dinners Vegas was known for, but consider inflation and that was a table phrase so since most Casinos now have a $10 minimum youre looking at a now $10 win which sounds much better. Thats actually about what youll pay here. Great chicken, be it plain or spicy lemon garlic. A la cart is more for kabobs, and they dont have much in the way of appetizers, more or less just extra sides. I highly recommend the spicy hummus. Zesty, creamy and a complex heat Med food isnt particularly known for. Likely made from the spicy olive oil people wouldnt know about unless theyve been there. The good thing about their juicy gyros is that the meat is more chunk cut and not thinly sliced. I myself like a crispy outside slice, but sometimes youll get a 1/2 thick piece and forget all about seemingly fried crunchies you once loved. The tzisiki sauce is quite thick, more along the lines of Greek yogurt versus regular yogurt. If you get the kabobs go well done as unlike a good steak I found the rare to be tough, but flavored well, probably because its not the usual ribeye, NY cuts most are used to. Great lunch specials and an even better late lunch after 2pm. The location is way in the corner or this smallish and somewhat janky food court. Probably due to the hangarounds of the smokeshop. Not in a bad area, I mean your 2 blocks from South Coast, but whats great is another of my favorite places is right near it. Lees Sandwiches. Parking seems spacious and plentiful, but people are horrible around here. I often ride my bike here and despite there not being a bike lane for a few hundred yards I care not the food is worth the adventure. Most of Orange County is not bike friendly.

Ah Chicken Maison one of the top rated places in Costa Mesa/Santa Ana. I shared my doubts about the place for having such a high score. Not a lot of restaurants can have so many reviews and maintain their 4-5 star status. Chicken Maison is one of them. Their chicken is so tender and juicy! I love getting their whole chicken with steamed veggies and hummus. So good :D. A whole chicken meal is good for 2-3 people and you can split the cost. I havent tried their kabobs because theyre known for chicken. Maybe some other time Ill try it out. My personal suggestion is to get the 1/4 spicy garlic chicken if youre just getting lunch by yourself. The staff is helpful and always tries to keep the place clean. Warning this place does get packed during lunch and sometimes has a line out the door. Might be best to order ahead and take it to go. Seating arrangements can be difficult.

I love their chicken kabob plate here. The combos are a bit expensive but I have never had a complaint about the taste. I usually get rice and hummus as my sides. The portions are generous and I usually have left overs for another meal. Im not sure if this is a chain and there are other restaurants in the OC, but this one is located near south coast plaza. Its kind of out of the way for me but I try to stop by whenever Im in the area. They have outdoor seating as well and the waitresses have always been nice. You order at the counter and the waitress will bring you the food. The place hasnt been very crowded the times I have gone.

Excellent spot for chicken as the name would suggest. I tried 1/2 spicy lemon garlic chicken along with spicy greek coleslaw and rice. I loved the spicy sauce thats drenched over the chicken. The meat was moist and tender, instantly fall off the bones. I especially was impressed about their coleslaw that was spicy and crispy. The rice was.. well.. tasted like rice. I remember their rice being much more flavorful but now it tasted plain.

There arent too many healthy choices around this area, but Chicken Maison is one of them. When you need to get food for your family, but are avoiding fast food or other junk, this place is the best bet. Food is ready relatively quickly and is very consistent. The staff is super friendly and most of them have been there since the place opened years back. This place has become a staple for us.

This has been my favorite lunch place for the last 2 years. You would have to go to Lebanon to find food this good! Chicken and steak kabobs are something you have got to experience. Spicy sweet coleslaw and the mint iced tea are other items you wont find anywhere else. Ask for Camillo and if you tell him you are a first timer, he will give you a free drink. Enjoy!

a 4++ for me, but not a 5. Always a fresh meal. Chicken is prepared great. Salads are always fresh. Try the "spicey" chicken special. It isnt spicey at all and great flavor. The rice is aromatic and a great compliment with the chicken. This is a very casual place...order at the counter and they bring out the food. Perfect for lunch!!!

Very cool and intimate restaurant, corporate style, superb quality, live music. My wife is super picky and she considers this the best place for steak bar none. There meat is dry aged around 28 days, served on very hot plate, also loved the dungeness crab which is good size, nice size pours of wine, could go every week if budget...

The food here is really good but here is the problem I have with this place. They didnt have chicken ready when we went one day for lunch…really?? No chicken at a place called chicken mason? They said it would be about 30 minute wait which we didnt have the time for, so we got the lamb. Not as good as the chicken, sorry to say.

The grilled chicken was okay to me. I love the steamed vegetables so much, it was crispy and still green. The meat was too soft so I didnt like my dish that much but all the staffs were nice and friendly. You can get a free drink for the first time coming to the restaurant.

The grape leaves are awesome but a bit expensive for only 6 tiny pieces. 6 isnt enough for one order and ordering 2 sides of this is too expensive for such a small amount. I think they need to put at least 8 grape leaves for the price theyre charging for these.

The lemon garlic fries and the dark meat on spicy lemon is my go to meal here. If you love garlic, this is your place to go. Everything is packed with garlic flavor and the chicken is made so that the meat falls right off the bone. Chicken Maison is delicious.

Always so good, I have never had a bad experience here. The food is so flavorful and their garlic spread is to die for. Their prices have gone up in the past year and are a little steep for what youre getting but the taste is always worth it.
