I went here with a group so I didnt have much choice in the matter. My food alarms were going off since they broke the cardinal rule of doing way to much on their menu. They cover the full asian gamut: sushi, chinese, vietnamese (is Thai coming?). Surprising, it wasnt bad. Sushi was good but not great. A little pricey but not bad that way. The spider rolls were a little more than normal but they were ridiculously fat. Chinese was ok. Had some basics: mu shu pork, hot and sour, etc. Everything was by the book good but nothing amazing. Vietnamese was ok too. I may be a little jaded since Im used to little vietnam in San Francisco. This wasnt at that level but it was pretty good. Final verdict: great if you want it all at one meal. If you want a particular type of food, better off going to a good place that focuses on that - youll save a little too. Im in the 2nd group.

Yu Shang is the BEST Sushi or Chinese place in Marin. Everyone in there is so friendly, and they have the freshest fish, with an abundance of rolls to satisfy any taste buds. My Personal favorites are the Punk Rock & Roll and the Firecracker. Their Chinese food is also exceptional with most dishes packed with flavor. I have been eating there for over 20 years, and I still have yet to find a better place. If you like Avocado, ask for a Lucky Star, it is the Avocado Lovers Dream!

This is my Cheers... the place where everybody knows your name. The service by the killer wait staff, or the chef at the bar is beyond great. And the food? Sublime. Fresh ingredients, a flexible style to custom build any order, and the best cucumber salad anywhere! I have eaten at many sushi places. And every time I stray, I am disappointed I didnt go to Yu Shang in the first place. If youre in the area, stop in! Its intensely worth it!

Yu-Shang never disappoints. From the warm greeting (with your name) and the special care given by Cesar, Vinny, Sogn and others, every meal is a delight. I ask Cesar to make me a surprise -- always wonderful culinary experience. The cucumber salad with crab is great on hot days -- on any day! Service and attitude is the best. Go to the sushi bar and experience an artistic meal.

I have been going here for 20 years and love, love it. The sushi is very fresh and the crab special is to die for and the Dragon roll is the largest I have ever had. I have been to a lot of sushi places and no one else makes it like they do. They know me when I come in and I get greeted every time with "Sushi! Margie!" The staff is very friendly also.

I come here every Monday for the sushi. They have these Crab specials that is like a orgasm in your mouth and a dragon roll or Henry roll to die for. Love the sushi bar they make the food rite infront of u perfect for first dates or just a night out with friends and family..

Chinese food is awful. Soggy Lemon Chicken, with a tiny piece of chicken inside. Just awful!!!! Maybe the Sushi is better. Will not eat there again.
