I have been going to this place for thirty years and it just gets worse and worse. Today was my final straw. Usually, its just the thuggish looking guy who hits the pin keypad for you on the ATM, even though thats a crime. But they seemed to have cut his hours and its the closest place to my house, so I started going back recently. But theres a guy there, who, lets just say gives south of the border level customer service. When I asked him to add the interchange bank fee to my purchase so I could get cash back, he gave me a blank stare. Did you know that these guys also have the audacity to have you pay tax on the cash out you DO get? You would think a store that is surrounded with competitors would try harder to keep the business of the neighborhood locals, but no. When I said I spend $50-$100/week there, the guy laughed at me, probably because he only sees me buy coconut juice. He probably doesnt realize that I usually send someone down there every other day to buy wine, brisket, or something else. Not anymore. They wont even give me cash out when I ask to pay the interchange charge? The guy actually wanted me to go back in the store and buy another $2 of stuff? This is drug dealer math--not a neighborhood shop that tries to be upscale. If I want to be treated like crap, Ill go to somewhere else and pay less for the privilege. So sick of people thinking they deserve my business.

This store has really gone downhill since I moved two blocks away, 3 years ago. The produce is ridiculously over priced(for example: Ive seen the same exact blueberries they charge 5.99 for going for 1.49 at other stores) and the grocery is consistently 10%-50% higher priced than anywhere else. I understand mark up for convenience but their prices are simply outrageous. Customer service is sub-par at best. I have had to wait several minutes to even see an employee at the register on multiple occasions. I avoid going to this store and only do so as a last resort.

This place is a little gem of the sunset. The locals know that its the best place to get a sub sandwich (closely followed by The Yellow Submarine), and its a legitmate grocery store although at tad expensive. My favorite part thought is its selection of imported British food, being a Brit myself. Ive searched the city and it has the best selection in the city, tucked away on 9th and Kirkham. The staff are always helpful and it has the feel of a neighborhood staple.

Sub sandwiches and fresh meat products are the most reasonably-priced items in the store. All pre-packaged foods are extremely overpriced. Staff is kind of zombie-like, but overall the store is clean. Id prefer to see a more organized front-end, which is currently a hodge-podge of stacked products. Just moved to neighborhood, but honestly will walk a little further to Han Ming market for a quick snack/beverage.

If youre reading this and not in line for a sandwich, stop what youre doing right now, hop on your rickshaw, and head over there for a sandwich. Doesnt matter which one. Pick a meat, get everything on it, sit outside on the curb, and eat it. Go back inside and buy a weeks worth of sandwiches in case the apocalypse comes, youll have sandwiches.

Not so much a small grocers as an overpriced convenience store that happens to sell fresh vegetables, fruit, and a couple decent deli products. Expect to pay nearly double what you would in an actual grocery store for most items. Dont bother unless convenience is more important to you than price.

Hands down one of the best sandwich spots in SF, if not the best. I started coming here 6 years ago, and Ive never been disappointed. Cash is the best option, but its awesome because its also a liquor store so you have other options to join your sandwich :)

Does the trick for some hard to find Irish treats like breakfast links and chocolate flakes and more. Great beer and wine choices. I dont live beside it but would say it has the neighborhood store essentials.

A completely different experience, quality, and amount of available options than the other Roxies Deli on San Jose Ave. Do yourself a big favor and go to the good Roxies Deli (not this one)!

Kind of rude at least some of them are, the other half are nice and helpful. No restroom in the place its broken "apparently", yet one of the workers went to the restroom.

Pastrami Sandwich served on Dutch Roll is always a reasonably priced treat! Roxies always has interesting snacks and tidbits to buy... but it will cost you a pretty penny.

Great sandwiches, drink/alcohol selection, great array of meat and ready-to-cook items. All but one staff member are at least nice, several are extremely friendly.

Use to be a great corner market. Seems to be little more than a liquor store (with deli counter) and poorly run. Expect a long line and inattentive staff.

British and Irish specialty comfort foods (imported with understandable mark up) + a solid deli, sandwich counter on weekdays, and a wild array of booze.

Great sandwiches. Groceries are overpriced and the produce is often lousy, but the location is convenient if you just need to grab a couple things.

Neighbor family feel to it. Has a variety of unique food options. Adult beverages, fresh produce and ready made sandwiches and Mexican food.

I love coming to Roxies to pick up a freshly made sandwich before going to golden gate park. The staff are super friendly and helpful.

Pretty big selection for a corner store. A little on the sketchy/dirty side and high prices, but better than most such stores.
