Love/hate relationship. Every time I go in, the line has formed in a different direction. The last time I went in I got in line from the direction I assumed people were standing and the sandwich man told me I was on the wrong end. The other thing is despite having an amazing menu with items that you would expect to be hot and items you would expect to be cold EVERYTHING IS MADE HOT. Unless your request cold and they look at you funny. In the bay area if you call yourself a deli there is an expectation of cold generally speaking. This should be called Golden Gate Market Subs & Liquor if everything is gonna be hot. Besides ruebens and a couple others I hate hot sandwiches and if you look at quiznos so did a lot of people. A classic deli turkey sandwich should never be hot! And the line should lead you to the cash register not the other way around.

I only have great things to say about golden gate market deli The workers here are amazing and definitely know how to make you feel welcomed! Whats even better is that they make the best sandwiches Ive ever had! There quick and everything is made fresh right in front of you. I would recommend my favorite but there all just sooo good. Seriously your lost if you dont stop by. Emil and wally are the owners there great people.

Good selection of meats, wines, and little things you might have forgotten to bring along on your trip. The staff is friendly. I felt at home. It js just around the corner from the park. You can pick up a good sandwich and a bottle of wine or beer. It is all good!

I love the sammiches here. Prolly best in the area. They even have a rewards plan. Buy 10 get the next sammich free. I referred my coworkers and their friends to this place. Hot or cold sammiches. Pro tip: call ahead in advance to have your sammich for pick up.

They are amazing!! So sweet fast. It gets busy during lunch but they always seem to handle very well. And the sandwiches are delicious. I believe the San Francisco Pyscho is the best sandwich Ive ever had!!!

Best sandwich Ive ever eaten! And I LOVE sandwiches! I had The Recession (Ovengold Turkey, Prosciutto and Provolone) and it was perfection! Picture wont do it justice but it was DELICIOUS! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The sandwiched are Awesome. I highly recommend "one of the boys" for meat and cheese lovers. So good. Definitely a hidden gem among the more noticeable areas of the Marina.
