I went here today because of the reviews...I tried the Sisig Surprise and the Vietnamese Spicy Sandwich...also Sisig Fries LOL, yeah it wasnt all for me, I swear. The reason I give it two stars is because I really didnt like the quality of meat--it was on the rubbery side ( This is for the Sisig Surpise and the Sisig Fries). The Spicy Vietnamese Chicken Sandwich was really yuck to me because it tasted like leftover chicken lard-and it was dripping orange oil. Overall, the people who work here are super nice, but I would rather have Sisig the original way, with rice at an authentic Filipino Restaurant. Kudos to all the high reviews, your taste buds are definitely different than mine.

At first glance, Toast Deli looks a bit sketchy. Dont judge a deli by the front because the food here is great. Its definitely on the greasier side, but it tastes good. Ive had sisig fries from the Senor Sisig food truck taste better than Toasts. The quality of meat isnt that spectacular, but different is sometimes a good thing. Try this place out and see for yourself if you will love it or like it.

For those people talking about how they would rather eat sisig at an authentic filipino restaurant because the meat was rubbery; you obviously must be along with the people that think "chicken sisig" is a thing. Because its not and sisig is cartilage, belly, and cheek and can also be head and liver and ALWAYS PORK. so the rubbery aspect is authentic. Sisig here is as legit as it gets.

Delicious...just delicious. Pork sisig, and Adobo loko with some sisig fries are my go to. A must try! And if youre around on Friday lobster and crab sandwich is always fresh and tasty!
