Too bad, I was looking forward to an enjoyable time at this pub. Waitress was very rude! They were getting ready for a large party and most of the tables were reserved which is understandable. She asked us to move from the patio to the bar area which was fine, when we finally found a free table (table with 5 chairs) she told us (party of 3) that we will need to move somewhere else when the bar gets busy. She told my mate "thats how she makes her money, filling tables". Well, you actually make your money from paying customers such as ourselves. The food was good, had wings and nachos for happy hour. Guinness was good too. If the service matched the food we would have been in good shape...wont be back.

Started off with seating ourselves. Waitress walked up and said she didnt even see us come in. States that the bartender told her he wasnt coming out of the bar to help us. Drinks took FOREVER to get to us. My wife had to walk up to the bar to get us our drinks. Table was sticky.... Who knows when it was last cleaned. Waitress took forever to finally get us our check and mentioned to my wife that the Patron got to her because she called her out on the bad service. As we were walking out the door bartender told us "F**k you" because we mentioned the bad service. Dont know why bar rescue wasted his time on this bar.....it SUCKS!!!!!!

There was nothing good about this bar. The bar was not full and yet our service was lacking to the extreme. The waitress stated we were not in her section and therefore was not responsible for taking care of us. The bartender stated he wasnt coming out of behind the bar to help us. We ordered our drinks from the waitress and never received them. We had to get them from the bartender who said "have a seat this will take a while"... They were two drafts... Not sure what that meant. Very disappointed and definitely never returning. If youre looking for a good place to have some fun and drinks DO NOT COME Here. You will find neither.

Much better when it was the holding company. They were out of the beer I ordered, out of the daily special (at 5 PM) and the happy hour tacos were just sad. The deviled eggs were supermarket deli quality. Im in no rush to go back. The service was OK, but Im guessing that was only because I was at the bar and not a table. They could use a visit from that bar rescue show.

We have visited the Holding Company on a number of occasions after work. They usually do a good job of accommodating rather large groups and service can be hit or miss. Food is serviceable bar food. The interior is similar to an english style pub. The exterior surroundings are really great as it is located in the Financial district of San Francisco.

Excellent service & good happy hour specials for a reasonable price. Interior feels like a pub and could be a little dated but overall pretty good. Wasnt very busy probably because of the off the beaten path location (3rd floor with nothing nearby).

Visited on Saint Patricks day, so didnt get the normal experience here. Had fresh well poured Guinness and a nice size platter of nachos. Service was a little slow, but I would expect it on a Saturday. Overall a good spot, but nothing note worthy.

Always a fun place! Ask for the liars dice and play with your friends! Its a really fun place to be. Kind of hidden away, up some stairs, a bit inconvenient to get to, but very worth it once you do!

Great little place in the middle of the city. Come here every Friday night and get service from two awesome bartenders. They also host the local FSU club for games which makes my husband super happy.

Small pub tucked away on the third floor of the Embarcadero building. (Not on the ground floor by Pizza Orgasmica). Good selection of beer, great staff too. Lots of seating at the bar and at tables.
