Love at first bite:) I have only eaten at 3 Indian food shops since I moved to San Diego, and my tounge agrees that this is the best. The reason I didnt give it the 5 stars is due to the vegetable samosa-I just didnt like the flavor of the ones here:/ although they were generously stuffed AND crispy, not soggy, i just did not like the flavor, ..I know everybody has different taste palates. Here is what I ordered , and craved, and loved loved loved!: --Cheese Naan--Alu Naan(naan stuffed with potatos) --Vegetable Korma--Saag Alu ...all of these are OhohohMyCod sooo good!!!!! even the standard rice that I got (not sure which one, just whatever comes standard with entree) was off the hook. AND get this....the next day, after slepping in the fridge, the rice was STiLL soft, not hard...omg WhAt!???? wow, I was totes impressed. This place is way better than restaurant "Tandor"

I would request you to avoid this restaurant of any of its commitments, quality and quantity. We as a not for profit organisation had requested them to deliver food for a group of visually blind dance artist visiting San Diego for a concert in lieu of publicity at the event. First they call us last minute to cut down on menu and later deliver food late and much less in quantity to serve 7 people. We are not beggars, we were just trying to support local business and increase our partnerships. This totally show their low attitude towards others, especially when they are making a donations.You can be sure how much they must be cutting in quality while serving you plates. CAUTION!!!! LATER THE LADY CALL ME TO TELL, I COULD NOT COMPLAIN AS THIS FOOD WAS FOR FREE.

I usually order from them via Prime Now and receive the deliciousness in under an hour. I love that you receive a substantial amount of food and when you order level:spicy; its just enough heat to warm you up without making your eyes and nose run. Regarding quantity, its enough to turn into 3-4 meals so you do get your moneys worth. Oddly, you dont get much rice for the amount of curry, but overall quality is great.

Excellent Indian restaurant. Service was great and food was even better. Getting in the parking lot was not pleasant but all in all I wish this place was near my home. One more thing, I asked for spicy and they didnt hold back... Lucky I had mango lassi to cool my mouth. Have tried yesterday during lunch, and now will try once more today before heading back north.

The people who own this restaurant are the friendliest, most welcoming, hard working people. They make everything fresh and the service is incredible. I go about once and week and have never had a bad experience. The owners are so wonderful I really cant express how welcome they make all of their customers feel. Reasonably priced! Delicious!!! Go! Go! Go!

The food is very good. If you order online, it is never ready on time. NEVER, 0 for 4. This time I purposely arrived 10 minutes later than it said, and they hadnt even started the order. Sat and waited for over 20 minutes at the restaurant. This happens every time. If you want carry out you might as well walk in and order it.

Coming from Chicago and growing up near Devon street which is one of the largest Indian shopping districts in the world I would say I am well versed in Indian food however this place is the best Ive ever had I had the lunch buffet and it blew everything away back home! Cant wait to come back here

Someone recommended this place and it is excellent. The flavors are WOW! I had the lunch special which was a lot of food for the price. Super friendly people. Parking is a challenge with Taco Bell drive thru in the parking lot. Be patient and you will be rewarded!

The food was really good but to much of a tomato base for my liking. (4 stars) The service was really good. (4 stars) parking is a little limited(-). Price at lunchtime was great(+). All in all a solid 4 star joint. Extra star for military discount!

Easy Access and plenty of parking. The lunch special is a steal. The food is a much welcome alternative when eating out. They have dining tables inside and Bollywood videps on a large screen TV. The hospitality is as superb as one can expect.

I asked for lamb curry. Not lamb tomato sauce. Ive never seen an Indian Curry restaurant give out white rice. Wheres the standard yellow? And the garlic naan has no visible garlic and only a slight hint of the garlic flavor. I wont be back.

The food has authentic India taste. Lunch special is only $7.99 that includes two curries, rice, soup and naan; which is very very very cheap price. I was in San Diego for two days and both the days I went to this place for food.
