We used a groupon for this course and were wondering why the expiration date was so short (3 weeks). Well, the fairways and greens were not in the best shape (divots, large areas of brown grass spots), so it made sense at that point. Ive been on worse courses, but I could tell they were either reseeding, or about to reseed, so the low priced, short length groupon made sense. Lexington is a very difficult course, so not for beginners. While not a beginner, Im not a single digit handicap, either. So this course was a fun challenge, excluding the staff mistake that essentially ruined our round. I had a bad experience, but it was mostly just a misunderstanding. Still, because of that, we wont be back, even if there is a great price. The two people we were paired up with split from of us around hole 6 or 7 when we stopped for a bathroom break. We kept up behind them with no issues until the turn at hole 9. We made a quick (5 min) stop at the pro shop to try and get a course diagram because neither the scorecard, nor the GPS shows the layouts and there are many hidden obstacles all over the Lexington course (we were not offered this booklet at tee time). After we teed off on the 10th hole, a foursome showed up behind us. As we were driving away, they asked if they could play through. I told them this is the first time they have caught up to us, we are just a pair, and we have already hit our balls, so sorry, but no. However, if they caught up with us again, sure. They apparently called someone because as we were on the fairway, an employee (not the normal ranger we had already seen twice) showed up and told us to follow him when we were done with that hole. This, of course, messed up our score for that hole since we were concerned about this guy glaring at us. He forced us to skip the 11th hole and group back up with the other pair we had left. Unfortunately, the pair in front of us was still on the 11th fairway, so we had to wait at the 12th hole tees for 10 min. We pointed out that we could have played the 11th hole in the amount of time he made us wait, but he wouldnt have it. He said if that foursome caught up to us, then we were playing too slow and had to skip a hole. We informed him that we werent slow, we just stopped to grab a course booklet, but he didnt care. The missed hole prevented us from having a score for the round and ruined the 12th and 13th holes since we were pretty mad and playing bad golf at that point. I understand what he was trying to do (keep the pace), but he should have gathered all the information before deciding to ruin someones golf day.

The Mrs and I played here on 4/8/17. We were in Vegas for a long weekend for golf and shows. Took an Uber from the strip. It was a little pricey for a Sat. Morning ride ($50) But what else could we do. Check in was great at the curb and in the shop. We got a great rate on GN App. Had a 1:05 pm tee time. We were informed at check in that the clubhouse would be closed after 2 pm for 2 weddings they hosting. We were able to order the club sandwich and take it with us. Thumbs up for the sandwich as it was excellent. We headed over to the range which is across the street through a tunnel. This was a very unique weather day as the winds were howling between 25-40 mph with even higher gusts at times. It was passion for the game that kept us out there.....! After warming up we headed back through the tunnel to #1 on Lexington. The course is pretty straight forward.... No blind tee shots etc. The course is in great shape. Keep it in the fairways as the 1st cut is really thick and sticky. Greens in great shape. Rolled quick and Im sure the high winds of 25+ mph were not helping. Great views of the strip but the winds caused the view to be obscured with all the desert sand blowing around. It was a super tough day with the hurricane force winds gusting at times. I read other reviews and the low scored reviews are not warranted. We live and play in South Florida on a regular basis. If I lived in the area I would make the Revere a part of my regular rotation. Its a great facility for the value. I understand the locals get even better rates which makes this a must play for them. My only real concern were that the on course bathrooms were locked up tight. There was a bathroom key on the cart keys but it would not open any lock. Kinda frustrating when youre out on the back 9 and no where to go.

The views of Las Vegas were never better that the Sun City contribution Revere. The course is so exclusive by being way out south in Anthem, I was very impressed with the drive. Even as we drove up to the Revere Course, the views from my car were remarkable. At first, one forgets that they are in Las Vegas’ reach, but then the view from the giant windows near the Pro Store looking out over the entire valley from the casinos along the LV Strip to Downtown with mountains in the background. The Revere is remarkable with a five star dining experience that had a line at lunch time. At least seven people stood infront of me with large party groups that enjoyed poached prawns with scallops in a Seafood Cobb Salad, Grilled Alaskan River Salmon and New York Steak. Every person eating took time out from their meal to stare out at the relaxing, magnificent view. I have to take my friends for dinner at night so that I can observe the view of Las Vegas from their promenade in the late evening. Plus the dinner menu shows that the chefs prepare lamb, duck, chioppino and crab stuffed trout almondine in the evenings. Anthem is lucky to have the restaurant named Buckman’s Grill and golfing green like the course at Revere inside Sun City. Revere Golf Club and Buckmans Grill in Sun City, Las Vegas Note: Sand Fire in Southern California with winds headed into Las Vegas. Forgive the smoke in the photographs that I took and added to Google. Fire and Smoke - The large SAND Fire in Southern California was burning when these photographs were shot. The flames, blaze and smoke blew into Las Vegas that day. The views are really amazing, but not the smoke. That is not normal for the skyline of Las Vegas, Nevada. Publisher, Thomas Chee

Played the Concord last weekend. Seemed like the course strives for excellence in many areas however comes short with green manicure. The elevation here is also excessive, to the point where hole lengths cause you to play the closer tee box; the wind through the valleys compounded this problem. Had the misfortune of getting behind some very new "groupon"ers, the view isnt THAT great where slow play could have been enjoyed. Ill play here again but not for full price.
