Service was an A+ from the beginning of service. Waiter was very nice, asked us if we had any questions about the menu, and very quick with drink orders. We started off with a small appetizer (the mixed plate and the billet naan) shared with four people, it was a perfect starter. Moved to dinner, and each individual was asked how spicy, on a scale of 1-10, that they would like their entree. This is a huge help, as Indian food that Ive had in the past has either been too spicy to the point where it ruins the flavor, or so tame that I dont get the delicious full bodied Indian flavor. I ordered the Chicken Tikka, and was very pleased (asked for a 7 on the spicy scale, and it was perfect). Great choice of beverages, wonderful decor, and the present service will have me and my wife coming back for sure. 5 Stars!

While I did read good things about saffron our group had an absolute horrible experience here. We specifically told the manager not to put any meat in any of our dishes as we are vegetarians, and when they finally came out, all of the dishes had meat in them. The manager Ritesh then decided to charge us $84 for food that we werent going to eat due to religious reasons. Obviously it was the restaurants fault and they shouldnt charge their customers for dishes they didnt eat. While he did drop the charges to $10, it shouldnt be something we would have to argue with the manager about. The manager showed very poor customer service skills and needs to reevaluate how he handles errors that are completely preventable and how he treats his customers.

FYI: As of September 2, 2011, Saffron is temporarily closed. My husband and I were excited to find the Saffrons website and online menu, so we decided to try it for dinner take away. We couldnt reach them by phone. We stopped by, only to find that it was closed. There is a note from management on the door that says the restaurant had to close temporarily (starting March 13th) due to their head chef having to return to India for a short time because of a family emergency. It says that they will resume normal business as soon as the chef returns. I wish they would have posted the note on their website also. Anyways, we look forward to the restaurant reopening. The dishes sound fantastic from the descriptions and the reviews!

It was amazing!!!! I walked in just as they opened for lunch and I was offered the menu or the super fresh buffet for only $12.99 (well $14 after tax but still 130% worth it)!!!! It came with my choice of Nann Bread (garlic or plain) and I got to choose from 7 different entree options and they were all delicious!!!!! I will definetly return to this excellent hole in the wall for the buffet! I didnt order anythng off of the menu but if the buffet is any reflection of the food they make then I will also return for more!!!! Excellent staff too so nice, professional, clean and accomidating!!! See you soon!!!

Very clean and beautifully decorated. Really has some great music playing while dinning making for an over all nice afternoon lunch. Staff is friendly and food is fantastic. They may have a small selection, but all of it was just amazing. Ive been back several times, making it one of my favs for lunch that you dont have to drive down to the strip for. I go about twice a month for the lunch buffet. My favorite dishes are the pagodas, chicken tiki masala and the mattar paneer (peas and cheese).

They don't offer my favorite Indian dish, but they made it for me. Lamb korma. Every Indian restaraunt I go to I have to order this dish and it was very good here. I'd give them a better rating if their chutney was better and they offered a better hot sauce. I asked for a 10 star spicy dish and then had to order a hot sauce and nothing was even medium spicy level. Always dissapointed when I can't get my food hot enough.

Customer service was great! The garlic naan bread was the best. I ordered 2 orders each of the garlic and butter naan bread. They give a lot of food. I ordered the food with the #6 spicy and it had a good kick. If you like spicy Id suggest to order 10. I ordered the Veggie Samosa as an appetizer. It was delicious only came with 2. Chicken Tikka, Madras w/vegetable. The yogurt sauce was good. The food was tasty Id go back.

Horrible Horrible restaurant. Dont ever go there. Worst food and worst costumer service. They dont even know how to cook. That indian Manager tried to charge me for the food which he made wrong food. This place tried to serve chicken to a vegetarian people and argued to charge for it. I would give negative 5 star if i could. This is the worst place to vist. Dont ever ever visit this place ever.

Food was fine. Portions were small or prices were high depending on your perspective. The ambiance looked nice, but they played a mix of traditional Indian music and American Pop, which was incongruous to the look of the restaurant. Service was good, but it wasnt busy while I was there. This is the only Indian restaurant that I know of in the Northwest portion of the valley.

Good service, fun cocktail list, good flavor and receipies. The dishes are made well with some vegitarian options, a neat indo china list. All sauces satisfied. Paneer was delish. Noodles were much better than expected. Shrimp was previously frozen but cooked well & the chicken was average. There appears to be banquet space adjacent, I did not ask further details.

Let me preface this review by saying I travel a lot and have had indian food all over the united states... I ordered a bunch of take out and they asked me how spicy I wanted it from 0 to 10.... I asked for level 3 and 5 because we like things kinda spicy.... the food we got was so spicy we couldnt even eat it!!! $80 wasted on food we cannot even eat. HORRIBLE!

Excellent Indian cuisine. We have lived all over the world and eaten at many Indian reaturaunts, and this would rank as one of our favorites. Good food, atmosphere and value. Staff was very friendly and did not hover over you. I actually was in the mood for a Jalfresi which wasnt on the menu. When I asked they said no problem....it was excellent.

First off, the portions arent small. They are appropriate. If you want overwhelming plate size, go to Claim Jumper. Yes, it is a little pricey, but its also quality. Some people dont appreciate that, and for them there is a McDonalds in the same parking lot. Ive been to almost all of the Indian places in Vegas, and this the best Ive found.

We live 40 mins away and wanted to try this place out. We called and they said they take seating until 8:30pm. We walked in at 8:25pm and they denied us a table. We told them it wasnt 8:30pm the girls at the first ended didnt care. Told us to get carry out. No one even apologized to us. For this reason we will never come back.

Wonderful atmosphere and food! The service is excellent and the restaurant is very clean. My husband and I usually come here on Saturdays for the buffet, because of the variety and flavors of food served. The items on the buffet are not very spicy, but still very good. I highly recommend this restaurant!
