This place has major service issues. They dont know their gluten free menu and are openly hostile to questions about the gluten free menu. The waitress Missy was extremely rude and insulting. She refused to find out anything and when I informed her that something on the menu was wrongly labelled gluten free, she flat out said, "thats not my job. Whatever is in the menu is right and from corporate!" After trying to talk to the manager, he also refused to find out the ingredients of the Corn meal bun which the menu wrongly labelled gluten free. He told me it wasnt his job and to contact corporate. Really unbelievable since you know they have the ingredients listed on whatever bag the buns come in. I contacted corporate and they informed me that I was right. There was a mistake on the menu and they were sorry. The lady at corporate told me that the menu would be fixed and that Missy and the manager would be reprimanded and sent to allergen training. I also was told that I would be sent a gift certificate to a different Red Robin...which I never got. Basically Missy and the manager turned a simple question about allergen concerns into WWIII. Dont go there ever..they are rude and have an anti-customer mentality. Gluten allergies are serious and some people have drastic reactions. If one wasnt asking questions, one could be poisoned by their inaccurate menu. Too bad because other Red Robins have been good. They have a bad attitude here and the place feels dingy and run down.

Below average experience. Although I counted 8 open tables from where I was standing, we waited long to get seated. It never ceases to amaze me that the manager is nowhere to be seen and the owner leaves a multi million dollar asset and operation in the hands of seemingly useless young inexperienced unmotivated dont care staff, not addressing a problem of creating a negative experience with the customer standing right in front of you that wishes to spend the dollars in his pocket at your establishment with an easy fix: one more busser at $9 ph. We were pressed for time otherwise I would have voted with my feet and walked away. The food did not make up for it: weak iced tea, no correction. No sweetener on the tables. Soft hamburger bun but so soft it breaks apart making it difficult to eat. Overall summary: Negative. Recommend: No. Go again: No. Refer: No

This is where diets come to die. Every time I come here, I eat so much that I feel like Im going to rupture my stomach or an artery. That being said, this is one of my favorite places to eat, and the price isnt bad at all. I dont think theres a burger on the menu that isnt perfectly crafted and the beers on tap pair really well. Morgan is Super nice and kept the freckled lemonade and fries coming! We didnt even have to ask! Also the decorations are super interesting and the tablets at the table keep you entertained and make paying super easy. This place is great. Will definitely come back again... and again... and again...

Despite the locale, (right next to Macys in the UTC mall), this place turns over tables quickly enough to stop you getting bored waiting. Service was good. Burgers were excellent - something I can say generally about all Red Robins. They got rid of my favorite (Onion Country Burger) but there are plenty of options. Great for people with kids, even if the kids get riotous, its the sort of place where the noise levels are high and most people can ignore the screaming kids without too much trouble. Avoid if you are not into noise or kids - but you are missing out on a VERY good burger.

I SO wish they hadnt closed the Red Robin in Del Mar Highlands! I miss being able to grab a Teriyaki Chix Burger with friends and actually be able to participate in conversation with them during the meal! Service is generally FANTASTIC at UTCs RR, but unless you are fluent in ESL, dont expect to be able to even speak to the people seated across the table. The food is standard RR fare & good quality, but it matters not when you go..our experience has always been the same.

My wife and I have always liked Red Robin and this location is close to us, so weve gone there often over past 6 years or so. Unfortunately weve gotten food poisoning from them three times. The first time -- well, these things happen. The second time, you wonder about a place, but we do like Red Robin. The third time -- forget it. Now we warn people away and go to the Del Mar heights location instead.

Been here a couple of times for work functions, and just like the Plaza Bonita location, this location never disappoints either. When you order a medium rare hamburger, you get a medium rare hamburger. Bottomless fries are great, and I just read a review that states you can get bottomless broccoli if you are trying to be more healthy. I will have to try that next itme.

Ive been a good number of Red Robins, and this one here is probably my favorite so far. The service is consistently excellent. The staff are willing to cater to your every need and my burgers have been cooked up accurately. Pro tip: Ask for a refill of your freckled lemonade to-go! Theyll give it to you in a paper cup!

Great food and service perfect for a business lunch with small or large parties. They have endless fries which is always a plus. The table-side app allows for easy payment and ordering of food, which can expedite the process for large groups. Hidden on the back side of the mall, but shouldnt be missed.

My wife and I eat here every 2 months or so. We love the burgers and frys. Sometimes I will get the bottomless root beer float. The service is worth the drive alone. But come for the food. I recommend the burgers. Thank you all for your hard work to make us all full and happy, T M

I come here a lot to meet up with old college friends. The food is okay, the hamburgers looked as if theyre cooked on a conveyor belt (you can see in the kitchen) and the staff is typically rude and you can hear them gossip to each other if you sit near their stand.

Worst visit ever. Fist time there, we ordered the turkey burger and the bacon chesse burger. Turkey burger was great, my wifes sandwich was under cooked, but the service was horrible. To long of a wait for all, i will give it another shot soon, hope for the best.

They didnt put half of what we ordered in our bag, and the bar tender even made a show of checking everything before giving us the bag, so I didnt bother. But- turns out, she was lying when she listed the things in the bag because it wasnt there.

Ill give them 5 stars. You should expect bar food and good beer. I always tip well here, because as good as the lil tablets that order beer are, it makes the waitress role less important.
