The best seafood restaurant I have been to in San Diego hands down! I came here for my cousins graduation dinner at around 9pm and they accept a giant party of about 30 people. With this big party, we had to be split into two large groups of two: one group of adults and one group of the youngins. With that best said, the waitress was very friendly and easy-going to accept such a late party and arrange the room for us. From appetizers to main course to dessert was all a pleasantly delicious experience. We had the seafood trio which was calamari, ahi poke, and ceviche with fresh shrimp and fish and it was omg how does this exist kind of experience. The plate was generous with their portions so everyone had a taste of all the goodness. In addition, the coconuts prawns were amazingly crispy and sweet. Their oysters on half shell were also really fresh and delicious. For the main couse, I had the sauteed mahi mahi because I enjoy sundried tomatoes. However, this entree fell flat of flavor compared to the appetizers and other entrees such as the ahi rubi rare and honey soy glazed tilapia. For dessert, we were served in a giant champagne glass a concoction of 33 different types of chocolate ice cream over chocolate brownies and chocolate syrup. Between me and my 3 cousins, we ate it all in about 5 minutes. Definitely would come back again for great seafood and dessert!

Good food. Terrible service. Went here for Lobster Wednesday. On Wednesdays they have Maine lobster plate for $12.99! That is one heck of a deal. Being a skeptical that I am, I was wondering how big the lobsters are. Well... it was pretty good size, although I dont know the weigh of that sucker I devoured. And it was cooked pretty well & tasty. And my colleagues also enjoyed their non-lobster dishes as well. Now my problem with this place..... 1) It took them forever to sit us. We had reservation for 16, and they didnt want to sit us until all 16 of us got there. So we just crowded the entryway until all of us got there. 2) The servers took forever to come by & offer to take our drink orders. 3) Took forever to come back for food orders. 4) They completely forgot my order & took forever to bring out my lobster plate. This being the lobster special night, I would have guessed they have bunch lobsters cooking @ once but alas... guess thats not how they do things. I got my plate after all my friends were done eating. 5) Took them forever to bring our check - even after we asked for it twice.

Horrible Service, the waitress was nowhere to be found, never checked on us, took forever just to get our waters and a couple sodas, we actually had to get up and find a worker several times, no employees to be found, like a ghost town. Bad Quality Food, they actually serve farmed fish here and overall very low quality of food. Not Tasty, food was bland overall and not much flavor, like tourist food just taking advantage of ignorant consumers. Small Portions, very small, we got a big platter of coconut shrimp and other items, yet there were only 4 coconut shrimp, totally insane rip off. Cant interchange ANY food items for any other item, even for additional charge, they wont let you, so if you dont like one of the combo items, TOUGH! you gotta get it anyway. Recommended we not sit outside because they call it windy city yet there was zero wind! They go out of their way to provide low quality service, as if they want the place to close down so they can collect unemployment. The only thing this restaurant has going for it is its location.

This review is strictly for their free birthday prime rib. So they have one day a month for those who have their birthday on that month to enjoy a meal on them (check their website for the date). All you need is your id, make a reservation, and make a single purchase (even a drink counts) and you get a prime rib and mashed potatoes. I opted to get a bowl of their calm chowder. All paired very well. Even if you dont get a side the prime rib and potatoes are more than enough for one person. But they do charge a split plate fee. No sharing your free meal too folks. I requested medium rare and it came out a bit more rare for my taste but regardless it still was decent especially for being free. I do suggest to try one of their desserts. We had the mud pie and for $8.95 this thing is huge and big enough to share for at least three people. Service was good especially for being crazy busy. Always refilling drinks, asking if we were okay, and did not seemed phased by our free meal requests.

We come for the lobster night special. The lobster is almost always good, but they shrink as time goes by & prices goes up. Service is good 8 out of 10 times, some nights you just get a really rude & grumpy waitress. The hostest isnt always nice, they do seem a little rude at times when it comes to Asian parties. Their special is 12.99 for main lobster but you have to get an appetizer or drink with it in. Drink is decent but their appetizer portion definitely needs to change. I ordered a fresh ceviche for 11.99, I dont mind paying but what I got was about a dozen chips and 1/4 worth of actual ceviche, the rest is cabbage in the bottom. At the first glance, it was a small cup already but as you scoop in, its really just cabbage pushing a thin layer of ceviche up....whats worst? It doesnt even taste good. But I come for their lobster & the rice pilaf is great. 3.5 star in my opinion.

One of the worst restaurant experiencees we have had in a long time. Wrong beer list, steak beyond under done and way over priced for the restaurant. The only reason this restaurant can charge as much as they do is because theyre on the water. I would say that this place is a step below Applebees. I usually dont have an issue with how my steak is done. Although this time it was beyond under cooked, it was rare and still bleeding. This was the kind of place attached to a bad bar in my opinion. My wife did NOT like or enjoy this dining experience either. Then after we left my wife asked me what I would like to do. To which I responded, "I would like to return to the restaurant and get our money back." This is the kind of place that if they offered a gift card or compensation for the restaurant as a instinctive to return, I would have declined.

We do enjoy going here occasionally, especially for the birthday dinner held on the last Thursday of your birthday month. No coupon required, just a reservation and your ID. The food is usually good. Dont waste your money on side vegetables though, especially the asparagus. Nothing about them makes them a good choice. Many meals come with a vegetable of some sort, usually garlic potatos, and that is enough. We have given up on any fun drink options. Poor quality, served in sticky, unattractive glassware. Only bottle beer or water for us now. The building is in poor condition. But if you go in the evening as we do, you arent likely to notice. The marina views are lovely and will distract you from poor exterior matainance. They are known for their SPECIALS though. We do enjoy our time here now that we know what to expect!
