Service was friendly, but SLOW. Our Server Sarah was cute and sweet, but was gone for long stretches between visits. We finally took our bill to the hostess to be closed out. it was a Monday night and not overwhelmingly busy, with plenty of other servers, so not really a good excuse for the slow service. The salmon and the tri-tip steak were both cooked to perfection. I asked for a baked potato, but was told they had none. ( ? ) Their signature item, however, the cheese potatoes were disappointingly awful. They were dry and mealy. Over all the flavor was good but the texture and dryness was pitiful. I added a $3 side salad which was delicious. However, it was piled high on much too small a plate. Needless to say salad ended up all over the table. I felt I got my moneys worth, but kept thinking how the chef didnt realize that serving a beautiful salad on this small plate was more of an annoyance than a treat. The salad dressing and salmon sauce were served in one of those pleated paper condiment cups stuck on top of the food. Somehow for the prices at this restaurant and the general quality of food, something about having a soggy pleated paper cup stuck on top of your food seemed out of place and tacky and diminished the overall experience of the meal.

Food was amazing!! But more than anything we were impressed with the great service from all the staff. They were very attentive in making sure our water glasses were always full regardless if it was a server or another staff member passing by. Our server, Lucas, was very friendly & funny too. He notified us that he would be going on break & Danielle was going to take over. She was very attentive as well. When Lucas came back he was very helpful in ringing us up. Our Visa gift card wasnt working at first, but he said he was going to try one more thing & sure enough it worked just by splitting the check. These servers go out of their way to go above & beyond!

Remarkable seafood option in Riverside! The environment here is excellent, the workforce is friendly, and the food is constantly tasty. i really like the tempura battered fish or shrimp and the tacky mashed potatoes are suitable. The highly spiced calamari salad is a good clean option and the soup/salad mixture is a terrific deal that includes a drink. ive been going to market Broiler my complete life and could continue to accomplish that. it could get busy at supper time on the weekends or on Sunday for lunch, but it really is to be expected. They do not take reservations so come early or be organized to wait some time.

My wife and I went to the Market Broiler and had a real nice time. We went on a Saturday night before the evening rush. We had about a five minute wait before we got our table. Our server was very nice and attentive. She brought us fresh sourdough bread from the oven. Yummy.. I had fish tacos and my wife had fried oysters. She love her food. I did not know that my tacos were Tempura. My server said I could keep the old tacos and bring them home and she brought me grilled tacos. The were ok, need seasoning, Lawrys Seasond Salt to be the bomb. None the less, I had a good time. I will order something else next time.

Its like a fancier Red Lobster. You can even call it the Republicans Red Lobster. Lots of old people in here. Bring a jacket the AC is set to 50 degrees. If you ask the wait staff to turn it down they just turn the fans on faster. Everything is pricey so if you bring a date make sure she doesnt eat a lot. Parking is always crazy no valet service. Drop Mom and Dad off and park it down the street. Do not park over by the movie theater or the CVS across the street they tow cars. The tow companies dont care about your car and will vandalize your cars like Pirates of parking lots.

We try to go out for a nice dinner at least once a month together and our favorite destination is usually Market Broiler, this time we brought along our son who has been asking to try more fish lately. The meal was awesome as always and the service top notch! The Mahi Mahi was cooked to perfection but what surprised me the most was the 50/50 chowder, AMAZING! We will be back next month and already look forward to another great meal served by the nicest staff in Riverside!

Even though Im not a big fan of chain restaurants, we took a risk and were pleasantly surprised. I ordered the yellowtail and shrimp.. my mom had the seafood broiler salad. Both were large portions and very yummy! The waitress was socially inclined and split our bill as I requested. However, I will say the food went right through me - and I have an iron stomach.... so Im not sure what happened there ... lots of bubbly rumbles and gas on the way home.

My family and I went there about 30 min before closing and the ENTIRE staff was so welcoming and patient. The food was delicious and fresh. The staff was very friendly. I give kudos to that manager, he came to our table to personally make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. Our weitress "Eunice" was fantastic. We were 2 adults with 5 kids. All Happy and cant wait to go back. Thank you all.

Absolutely the finest sea food and fish in general in Riverside. Service is excellent, the young blonde lady is very pleasant and patient. I suggest the Chilean Sea Bass , The Seared Sushi Grade Mahi mahi. ( Tuna Raw, Seared outside) Very good bar, one of my drinks was a little strong but not complaining. Worth your money if you dont mind paying good money for very good Fish and seafood

I walked in here at 9:55pm and the were closing the kitchen. Francisco Ramos the evening manager was extremely friendly and understanding and let us order. After we were seated our waitress Sharleen did an amazing job in helping us. She was super friendly and polite despite the fact they were closed. The food was equally amazing! Great selection of seafood, steaks and cocktails.

For the price, this restaurant was not what I expected. My entire family got either salmon, steak, trout, halibut, or scallops, and everything was overcooked. Also, the tostada ceviche fish tasted like it was canned fish and the sauce on top tasted old. The only good part about it was the avocado. Definitely not worth it, especially for the price you will be paying.

Ive been going there since they opened about 25 years ago. I normally get one of their daily fish specials, and sometimes an appetizer. They are one of the few places I know, that cook their meat on a mesquite wood grill. So gives it a good flavor. They have fresh made sourdough bread every day. And their specials are reasonably priced. So I recommend them.
