A lot of people are easily impressed by fusion food, and for me this was relatively on par for a korean/mexican fusion place. I had the marinated chicken, pulled pork, and bulgogi tacos; I liked that you could choose different types of meat for each individual taco and that the tacos have different toppings. The bulgogi was the best, while the chicken and pulled pork were just average (pretty good but not amazing). I think other reviewers have mentioned its like a Chipotle and Id agree. My only complaint is that I came on a 100 degree day, and the AC was not working at all (I was sweating through my clothes)! If you like fusion food, this would probably be a good fix.

This is korean fusion done very well. I ordered a rice bowl with kalbi and mushrooms and other assorted veggies. It was a perfectly portioned dinner, with generous amounts of meat and everything balancing very well. Their special sauce was not overpowering and they somehow made the combination of cheese and white rice work. The delicious meal was also very reasonably priced. The diner is clean with an enjoyable atmosphere located comfortably in the middle of the neighborhood. Also, I enjoy supporting small local businesses. Ill definitely stop by when Im in Sacramento again!

First time at this place. Ive passed by it many times and decided its time to check it out. It is small and parking is very limited. But if you can get in, it is worth it. I had three veggie Korean Tacos and a Kimchi Quesadilla. It was very good and different. Even if you dont like the food you will like the way the food looks. The sauces they put on the food is very good also. Customer service was very good. They were very helpful in helping me decide what to get that I would like. I would recommend this place to anyone who wants to try something new and different.

First time in. Wife and I shared the tacos (you get three and you can mix and match). The three were 1) marinated steak, 2) spicy pork and 3) the spicy chicken. We also got the kimchi egg rolls. The tacos were delicious and the egg rolls were great (crunchy on the outside and covered in sauce, but the inside is soft...be prepared for that). Over all a great experience and we will deffinatley be back. They also have beer and wine.... Small seating area but plenty of space between inside and outside. New fans. See you next time

This place has delicious late night eats. Dont overthink the location or scoff at the idea of Korean Mexican fusion and you are going to have a great time. Located inside of an old gas station, its a strange atmosphere with inside and outside seating, the food however is fantastic. Its out of this world good and the bao is to die for. Staff is friendly and they have an array of food options for vegetarians and picky eaters alike. Check this place out. There is something for everyone. Atmosphere 3/5 Staff 5/5 Food 5/5

Employees did not seem content no smiles, no enthusiasm or gratitude. I was pleasantly surprised with the delicious looking quesadilla that was garnished with sour cream, blueberry and chipotle sauce with a minimal amount of kimchi which was great for me since I found out I am not a fan of kimchi on its own. The Japchae was supposed to have sweet potato noodles according to their menu which seemed odd since Ive never heard of such a thing but there definitely was no sweet potatoes to be found in the dish.

The food is great, but the staff can be a little rude sometimes. I guess it depends on if they are in a good mood or not. Ive been coming here off and on for a year now, and its been my experience that on occasions, the staff are short tempered and try to make you feel small because you may not know what you want. What they do is say something like: you dont know what you want? This is how it works...pick this or that, so choose what you want and order it! Kinda humiliating, but the food is worth it?

This is by far the best Korean BBQ in CA. We were hesitant to wait 1.5 hour here (hungry) and knowing it wasnt all you can eat didnt help. Oh, was I wrong. The meat is the best quality and sides compliment them so well. Cheesy corn and cooked egg available. They have water that is a little off colored but ive been told its purified. Parking is really hard but where isnt in Sacramento. This is my go to hands down best Korean BBQ.Make sure you wear clothes you dont mind smelling like after your done.

Great place thats always consistantly good every time I stop by. I like the interisting fusion of Korean BBQ served Mexican food style. I usually order one of the chicken dishes and the flavors are all delicious. The staff has always been pretty good each time Im there. The location, while being a bit weird due to being a converted old gas station, has character and is decently maintained. My only disappointment is that I wish they had more locations so I could get their food more often.

Not located in the most desirable locations, but this place is a little gem. Parking can be a bit of a pain as they only have a few on the property. The food is what really sets this place apart. The tacos are delicious if slightly overloaded with chopped greens. I would also recommend the cream filled churros which are delicious! My friends normally go with the burrito or nachos which are nothing to scoff at either. Good portions and work well with a beer on the side.

This cool little spot - a restored 1930s gas station - has a hip urban vibe, and the food is a clever merging of Korean and Mexican cuisine. The small menu features tacos, burritos, and rice bowls. Meats include bulgogi (Korean BBQ beef), short rib, spicy pork, chicken and fire chicken, and tofu. Rounding out the menu: kimchi quesadilla, bulgogi mini-burgers, and chips and salsa.

OH SO SWEET, OF ME
Absolutely the best Korean BBQ place Ive seen in over twenty years! The food is fresh and full of flavor, all of their meats are tender and very well seasoned and their side dishes are excellent compliments to the meals. Delicious food at a reasonable price and most of their dishes are large enough to share. Be sure to try the mango Soju cocktail!

Excellent food, poor counter skills. Because of dietary restrictions its better for me to have the tortillas served on the side when ordering the tacos. The owner has done it for me, but only half of the counter people have done it. Those who refuse claim "...its the rules...", probably a lie. If its the "rules" they should post it.

They basically have the same options as Chipotle (think burritos/bowls/salads) plus a few starters like egg rolls abd chicken wings. Honestly, everything was too sweet and tarred very similar. The kimchi was not spicy, nor very fermented. Open fairly late, fairly priced, and fairly quick are the reasons I would go here.

They open late until 3am. You can choose salad with all different kind of meat for a late night meal. I love their house sauce, i believe the sauce is made by berries, and of course it tastes better than ranch. Absolutely, you can stay away from carbs. Recommendation: salad bulgogi and Soju shaved ice are the best.
