One of my favorite places to get take out from. Large portions and vegetarian/vegan options. This i the ultimate comfort food to me. I seriously order from here via DoorDash or UberEats like once a week. I get the same thing every time so Ill leave the recommendation here (keep in mind I love spicy): Toasted rice, organic tofu, broccoli, cucumber, mushrooms and vegan kimchi with lots of extra HOM sauce on the side. Tips: 1. For some reason Uber Eats does not have their vegan kimchi on the menu. They have it at the restaurant and on DoorDash. If you want them to use the vegan kimchi instead of the regular one just make a note in the comments of your order (and maybe give them a quick follow up call.) 2. It comes with 3 veggies, If your ordering with DoorDash you can just add on as many as you want and it will subtract the cost of three of the veggies you ordered when you put it in your cart. If you want a 4th, and your ordering with UberEats, you have to select extra Banchan and then leave what you want the 4th on to be in the comments. 3. One time they forgot mushrooms from my order (Im one of those annoying people who makes their take out order ridiculously complicate) and a few times my delivery person forgot the extra sauce, so now I just follow up my app order with a quick pleasant phone call to them. Not taking out a star because they are very pleasant about it, amazing food, and honestly other than one time it might have just been the fault of the delivery service. Since I have followed up with a phone call Ive never had a problem with it again.

Hom is a great place to grab a quick, delicious, healthy bite to eat. Its similar to chipotle where you pick your rice, protein and veggies (3). I got their braised short rib which wasnt really what I was expecting because it was more like shredded beef stew with the marinated galbi sauce. It was still good although next time, the steak is what I will go for. Get the toasted rice, its delicious! Kinda gets stuck in your teeth a bit but its yummy. Price isnt too bad, toasted rice was an extra $1.25. Dont forget to put their hot sauce over it! Service was good. Overall very filling.. I left with a happy belly :). Wish there was one in Campbell!

So Ive eaten here a few times now and I think its time for me to write a review. Lets stay off with the vegan options; 1) they have plenty of veggies to choose from and I love that its organic. 2) the homemade ginger ale is delish! I like my drinks very low on the sweet side so that option is excellent! Now for everything else, 1) they have parking validation 2) Im sure the meat is off the hook 3) every time Ive come here, the staff have been so kind and very patient with explaining whats in the foods 4) outside seating is available 5) music is not too loud or hard to hear 6) its nice and clean inside.

Everytime we visit San Jose, we seem to find ourselves here. We love the variety of cuisine downtown, and this is toward the top of our list. This place is like the chipotle of korean food in terms of how you place your order. They are open pretty late, which is awesome after a night of drinking in dt sj. Each meal can easily be split between two people, but my husband and I always get our own bc we hate sharing (its that good!) Love the spicy pork with an egg on it. I always add kimchi and green beans and tons of sauce. Service is fast and the food is soooo good. Plus they have a very nice dining area. Yum!

Fast food Korean style. Relatively new downtown eatery (opened last year), serving a decent selection of Korean fast food. Customers walk up to the counter and choose from the available rice, meats, and vegetables (theres an instruction menu board overhead to help with the ordering process). Ive dined there several times and had the steak, pork and braised beef, with a different assortment of vegetables. Everything tasted very good. I live in the neighborhood, so hopping in for a quick meal after work is convenient. Ill be coming back.... dont forget to grab a serving of the homemade hot sauce.

My new favorite!!! Absolutely authentic and delicious! As a student at San Sose State, I like that I can walk there in less than 10 minutes. Similar to a Chipotle-style get up, where you walk up and choose what you like. First you choose a base, white rice, grains and rice or a salad blend with kale. Ive had the Korean steak, the tofu, and the chicken...all equally fabulous. And you choose three side veggies. The kimchee is great, not too spicy. Most of the menu is gluten free. They even have a reward program for repeat customers. Highly recommend!!!

This restaurant is indeed a hidden-gem in downtown San Jose. I like this place because its catered to students nearby, it opens a little later than most places, and cheap! A Korean-style Chipotle. Pick your choice of: protein, veggies, and carbs. So far, I have tried the braised beef and it was delicious -- soft shredded saucy beef. Portions are friendly and a variety of veggies ranging from: green beans, broccoli, bean sprouts, spinach, etc. Definitely on the list for my go-to.

A choose your own bowl adventure. It was super duper good. I choose half rice half salad for my base and I really appreciated that the salad was made of kale and hearty leaves that stayed fresh sitting next to the hot rice. For a protein I choose chicken, which was tender and flavorful. I would not consider the kimchi spicy but it was also flavorful. They have a rewards program for frequent visitors. The service was amazing and super helpful.

Delicious Korean style food with a fulfilling size plate. The employees were very helpful in describing everything, I appreciated the customer service. The vegetables were delicious & cool. I would especially recommend: carrots, green beans, spinach, cucumber. I absolutely loved the drink that appeared to be a half a cup of lemonade especially with a little alcohol added to it and dont forget to get their thick red Korean sauce.

I enjoyed a meal of Korean beef over white rice with carrots, broccoli, and kimchi accompanied by a Laganitas IPA. I thoroughly enjoyed the flavor of the Korean beef. The carrots, broccoli and kimchi are served cold, which I wasnt expecting (not a regular Korean food eater) but didnt detract from the experience. The staff were very friendly. I would recommend HoM Korean Kitchen for a very good meal at a reasonable price.

I love this place. Came here twice: the first time I got a bulgogi and a kimchi , and both were amazing. Only $8 for 2 giant rolls, and there are even cheaper options too. Ive also gotten kimchi fried rice here and that was also quite delicious. The staff are also very kind and friendly. For the quality and taste of the food for the price in addition to the spectacular service, this is a great spot if youre in the area.
