After looking at the menu outside on Wed. Evening August 3rd I walked in the door at exactly 8:30 pm. The restaurant was empty. I mentioned to the young man at the counter that it was my first time there. He said sorry they were only taking to go orders after 8:30. I said that I did not see anything posted about those hours and mentioned that the posted business hours states you close at 9pm. He was adamant and kept repeating the rules. I was very disappointed and hungry and I admit a little grouchy. Only because I was hungry. I walked out and was looking at the menu again to see if anything was mentioned about to go only. Another employee inside signaled me to return and said that I can sit and eat. At the same time 2 women customers walked in and sat down. I said thanks for accepting me and discussed my order and decided. The order taker then said it will be to go only. But wait! That employee just said I could eat in and those 2 women are setting at a table. Well they called in their order and he has only been working here for a couple of weeks. I walked out even more disappointed. The counter person was very un-accommodating and inflexible. In 20 minutes I could have ate and been gone before 9pm. This restaurant has very bad business practices caused by one employee who will not accommodate paying customers.

Its ok. The cheese skirt is definitely an acquired taste. Other than the weirdness of it- or I guess, the uniqueness- its not actually good. Its just greasy cheese thats been overgrilled and crunchy. If youre about that life then go for it... But my 3 star rating is also from how f***in salty my cheesesteak was the other day. The meat, the cheese, the grilled veggies and jalapenos were so oversalted that I couldnt finish it. I didnt ask for a new one because I was with a friend and wanted to have a pleasant time out or else I wouldve definitely ordered another. Otherwise the male host was amiable and the fries are tasty. Parking SUX. Make time for parking.

Just went in the Sacramento midtown restaurant. The cook feels it is alright and the right thing to do to take meat with his hands and put it on the grill. I was told they dont have to wear gloves or use a spatula or a pair of tongs. I was offered a refund, but decided to eat it anyway as I was starving. Will not go back again. The young lady did give me a lot of fries. Didnt know the taco would also be with skirted cheese. Theres so much grease on the taco, I cant eat it.

I ordered from doordash and this has bwen the worse food I have ever gotten. Beside the bad service from the driver. The food quality was bad the burger was missing items and made wrong. The French frys were under cooked and raw. I really couldnt believe that the squeeze inn had really put this crap in a bag and sent it out with their stamp on it. I expected much better from them.

Good service and food, but if you have any food allergies go elsewhere. Ordered a steak sandwich without the bun, came with the bun and when I said something they wanted to just take it off. So not a great impression. The stake had a weird flaky texture. Stick to the squeeze burger! I hear its great for those without accommodations.

This was a great burger. Loved the cheese skirt. Service was wonderful. The fries were a bit more then we could eat with all the burgers. I ordered the small burger and it was very large. Well definitely go again when we are in town. Parking was a little hard to find even on a Sunday but well worth the walk

This is probably the only place I can say Ive had too much cheese. Burgers are really good, fries are pretty good, and the staff are quick and nice. Id recommend getting the skirt for the full experience at least once but they will do a traditional cheeseburger with no skirt if you ask

We read about this place from a tv show so we were intrigued. It did not disappoint! The cheese skirt was generous, unique and tasty! Between the 8 of us we ordered a variety of sandwiches from the menu and they were all good! The French fries were also very good. Service was great!

The restaurant was clean and roomy. We went astr the lunch rush so it was quiet not busy at all. I had the Midtown Cheese Steak with a skirt. I added jalapeños and mushrooms. It the so good, but I couldnt finish the whole thing. My kids and sister enjoyed their food as well.

Never thought Id eat a burger with a "cheese skirt," but thats what happened here. Sounds odd, looks odd, tastes wonderful. Skip the turkey patty and stick to the original. (Im not a huge burger person, but would come back here just to eat another half pound of fried cheese.)

A little disappointed! My friend bought a BLT recently and took a pic. It had like 8 pieces of bacon. Today she bought one for me and there was 1/2 the amount of meat. :-/ However after cooking the bacon a smidge longer ( I like mine crispy) the sandwich was great as usual.

Great local restaurant. Squeeze Inn is small but the food is great and the service was friendly. Anything with a cheese skirt is a must try, its fried cheese, how could that not be good. You can also get your fries dressed however you want, well worth the up charge.

awesome i know most will think im crazy but the Cheese Spam Burger is where its at. The staff was awesome friendly group of guys and we chatted about the recent football games. all around i cant want to head back but it may be bit lol this is a diet buster meal! :)

Just had my first (veggie) burger with a skirt and it was great. While I did get it to go, I hung out while they were making it and the staff was very friendly and cool. I also watched them solve a picky customers problem efficiently. Good stuff

I am a huge burger lover. Im always searching for new burgee places to eat. I came here unexpectedly trying to grab a bite and oh lord, by far the best burger ive ever had! Juicy, big, cheesy, just prefect You wont regret this place!

This place is awesome! The 1/3rd lb squeeze burger is plenty of food. No need for the double. The fries were great too. Our 3yo had the grilled cheese and it came out with their famous cheese skirt, just like their burgers.

Great burger, fabulous cheese, delicious bun. What more could you ask for? Yeah... I really do wish I could have a beer with my burger, but since were only a block from 5 bars, Im willing to wait.

Out of all the Squeeze Inns in Sacramento..this is by far my favorite..they definitely make the cheese skirts extra crispy if u ask them..and the bread is less soggy than the other Squeeze Inns

Amazing cheese skirt - crispy and wonderful. Plus the actually burger is a top quality beef patty. And the fries are thicker sort if steak type fries. Perfect meal, really.
