The food was as good as I remember from when it opened. I had the "double char" which is one of their main burgers, no frills, just the normal trimmings. Their burgers are made to order, they will not start cooking them until you order them. This means fresh and delicious burgers! Their fries are superior to most fast food places. They are crispy and golden. The portion size was "meh" though, which left me wanting for more, especially given the price, which leaves me to my final point. Unfortunately, they have definitely gotten more expensive, the double-char meal put me out ten dollars, which almost rivals a burger and fries from applebees or red robin (the double-char meal included a drink though). There really isnt much of a discount for a combo if any at all (the burger was 6, the fries were 2, and the drink was 2). I got a side of ranch because I have always loved their ranch for my fries. It was as tasty as I remember from when they opened, but honestly it felt MUCH thinner, almost watery. It literally drips off the fries as you dunk them in the ranch. The inside is more of a fast-food experience than a sit-down one. Chairs are somewhat uncomfortable, but thats by design, keeping people eating then moving on quickly. The booths are more comfortable. The general ambiance is noisy, you can hear everybody else talking, and the kitchen is open by the dining area, and you can hear the grills going, orders being taken. Its better for a shorter chat than a sit down family experience. I still recommend the habit as an experience, the burgers are so tasty, and the fries are made well. Just dont expect the greatest of value in terms of dollars, and we can hope they decide to go back to keeping thicker ranch dressing.

This Habit burger grill joint is so great i myself as a classy man brought my lovely ex girlfriend here so shes a cow to put it out there. She ate till a wellsfargo agent called my phone and asked me if im buying anything so then i proceed to explain that im at the most expensive grill house in stockton. As i was done munching on a bbq char burger when my vehicle is towed for being in a faded handicap parking spot ,As my lambo was being towed away Habit employees laughed at me. Then i purchased the habit the next day and fired all of them ! Whos laughing now!? Me thats who com on in I wont have your car towed !!!!!

Went in tonight 12/21 not realizing they closed at ten but the fact that they were still friendly about it and NO grumpy faces! I am a Manager to a food chain and Ive worked all shifts and to know that this team, your night team, tonight did an awesome job with customer service! The team work they had with each other was awesome I couldnt tell if a Manager was on duty but it didnt matter they served their guest in a timely manner and with great attitudes! Awesome job guys! Keep up the good work!! Btw it was my first time ever at the habit food was GREAAAT! :P

Got a raw burger. Lady claims its normal and thats how its made. I eat raw steaks all the time, but raw burger...not for me. She did offer a new one, and that one was cooked. The taste just isnt me. It had a strong charcoal gas taste, like when youve just added charcoal fluid on your charcoal, and started the fire, but, instead of waiting you just start grilling. Other than that, everything else was nicely done- fresh tomato, fresh cabbage, pickles, and bun was toasted well.

The Habit has the best burgers I have ever had! They are made fresh and taste like they are barbecued. The fries are very good and made fresh as well. The prices are VERY cheap too. If you have never tried this place, you need to. You will be hooked! Good food, friendly service, low prices, even good music. What more could you ask for?

Consistently good. Go here regurlarly. Awesome food and service. Always clean and staff if very attentive. I made someone aware of an issue with the sprinkler hitting the patio seating area and the manager on duty came out on the phone with the property owner getting the issue addressed. A+ guys! I love a double char no cheese!

This is my favorite place to have a burger! The meat tastes so good that I always order mine with cheese and nothing else, just so I can tastes that great grilled flavor that you can only get at a Habit Burger. Once you try one you will never go back to anything else after the first bite.

I love the food but I have went to this location 4 times and every single time I went they got my order wrong. Very irritating. I ordered a malt and it came in two cups ? I told them sourdough bread twice and both times they forgot. And one time I said bacon and there was no bacon .

Cant say Im a usual here at this restaurant which serves a decent amount of selections for various types of burgers and sandwiches but the place is nice with good food so what more could you ask for? Looks clean, has good food and the employees have always been welcoming.

This place is nice! I like their charburgers and their fries! Over all the restaurant is well kept except for the restrooms. Management has to be notified before any attention is given to them. Other than that... Its an awesome place

If you compare it to fast food chains, its by far the best fast food burger Ive ever had. It far surpasses Applebees and Chilis burgers too. Great burgers, fries, and yuuumy millshake. I would definitely recommend this place.

The flame broiled burgers are made to order and are quite tasty. You will have to wait a bit as compared to other fast food chains but really only a couple/few minutes; I feel it is worth it. I will continue eating here.

The grilled chicken actually taste like it was grilled and if youre looking for a healthier option you can always ask lettuce wrap or protein style (they remove the bun and wrap it with lettuce).

Burgers are ok but not super flavorful. Staff is polite but not overly welcoming. I like that they have a selection of different hot peppers.
