HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Me and my girlfriend came in at 11pm and waited in the line, we were holding hands and giving each other kisses. SECONDS later, "Store Manager" as he was walking by told us we cant be "kissing". I thought he was joking but he stood there and said there were "3 complaints tonight", I told him we literally just got there and there is no way someone even had the time to complain and complain about what??. He said there were "other couples". I told him it sounds like he is just having a bad night and we are going to leave but I will make sure Yelp knows about their no kissing policy. I asked for his name, without telling, he left. Because of how weird that whole interaction was, I thought I should make sure that was the "Store Manager" and not some random guy, so I asked another waiter his name, "Owner" then started cussing at us about yelp. So we just left. Now him and the store manager came outside and aggressively approached me and my girlfriend after we had already left and were on the sidewalk close to Shady Lady. The "owner" then put his hands on my chest, trying to shove me back, and confronted my girlfriend ON the street!!! I stood there and told him he has already committed ASSAULT and does he even know what the issue was?? He muttered something about Yelp told us and another customer to to "f#%^ off". Thankfully the event was video recorded.

Burgers were delicious when we were here, beers were also good. The menu is quite appealing, with a variety of french fry plates that I cant wait to go back for, and plenty of different burgers to try. I had a pastrami burger which was fantastic. The proportions of everything, especially the sauerkraut, were spot on - nothing was overpowering and I could taste everything (though I would have liked more pastrami, but thats just me). They had garlic curly fries which I was excited about, and they were not overwhelmingly garlicky. If anything I would have been fine with a little more garlic. My girlfriend had the cheddar burger and sweet potato fries that we both enjoyed greatly. It was hard to pick a favorite among the food. The beers were also great - we had a banana bread beer that tasted quite how youd want, and a sour beer that I was excited they had at all. Dessert was pretty good - a cheesecake covered with Nutella. The location is pretty great - there is a music venue next door and we even saw a traveling band walk by outside. This is definitely a great place to go for burgers and beer.

The service is great, the offerings are satisfactory, and the outdoor tables are pleasant. I like the option of salad, not slaw or iceberg, but high quality, light lettuce, instead of fries with the burgers and all. It seems to be very popular, and while I dont drink anymore, the beer menu looks tempting, as once I sampled fine beers, with various exotic foreign ones. They are open late, and theres a frozen yogurt shop next door for dessert. The crowds seem pretty upscale. Though parking is on the street, but I can simply walk there, the best way to go Downtown. In front, there are meters. With the residential zone parking nearby, you only have two hours of free parking without a permit, until after 6 p.m. Ive been here about 20 times since they opened a few months ago, its been good every time. You can order your cooking preferences for the hamburger, maybe order well done if you dont like red meat, my first time I got a pinker patty on ordering medium well. The slice of pickle the meals come with are sizable, crisp, and snappy. Burger fans will simply have to try this place!

This includes Burgers and Brew, and El Toro. The food is great, the people are cool, although I would highly recommend coaching better customer service!! I worked in the office for about 9 months. They took advantage of me while I was going thru a bad time, being in and out of hospitals, and being on terrible meds. They lied during the unemployment court hearing, and i wasnt coherent from the medicine. I didnt stand a chance. But Im ready this time with doctors notes, disability, and my phone records. They have the cameras to show I was there at the office dropping off my doctors notes, but I understand you have no integrity. This next hearing I will be present, but unfortunately I will be feisty and not very nice. Plus why should the company be honest when they think theyll get away with it? Best of luck when dealing with these money hungry assholes, because if they have the opportunity to get over on you, whether it be an employee or customer, theyll take advantage of it. Its easy to fix your wrong, I did my job now its your turn.

Great burgers Great sides Expensive beer no TVs I had the lamb burger and my girlfriend had a plain hamburger, both were amazing. They use Niman Ranch meat, and you really can taste the quality. The lamb burger was served with feta and a side of mint yogurt sauce or tzatziki sauce. My girlfriends burger was really good as well, the buns they use are perfect for absorbing the juice in these 1/2 pound burgers. We had onion rings that were good, but sweet potato fries that were incredible. I dont think they make them in-house but they are a treat. They have a great beer selection but the beer is a little expensive at $7 for 12 ounces. They do not have TVs so dont go expecting to watch a game or anything, just good food.

I always want a burger when I go to a burger place, but for some reason I was feeling a sandwich. I went the healthier route and got a Turkey Avocado Melt and a calm chowder (instead of fries). The melt was pretty good. It was really simple and the avocado and turkey was good. It was nothing special though. The clam chowder on the other hand was not good. And it was cold! I sent it back (something I rarely do) and politely asked them to heat up. They actually gave me a new bowl and it was STILL cold. Its pretty obvious that they just put another bag of pre-made chowder in the pot, but what can you expect from a burger place, right? Overall, Ive been to the one in Davis and it was good. Stick to the burgers.

I walked up knowing I wanted to eat, but 15 mins to close I only figurd I would get a decent recommendation. I opened myself up to easily be told where is still open, but to my surprise I was sat to a bar table alone. I do not judge a new server training, but being only customer left I sat down & ordered promptly. Lamb burger is a diamond in the rough define well done, & tht along w/a very picky choice, of beer being from Colorado. My tastes were pleased w/multiple IPAs on a rotating tap, food in 6 mins, and a bit dry on personality @ end, but very solid choice. Food very well price, if its too much - you shouldnt be dining out. $5 for a burger is at Jack n Box, for 3 more you get the real deal.

Overall, burgers are consistent and delicious, and the staff is awesome. Good vibes all around. My burger was good! I had the jalapeno and bacon. The bacon was thick and not wimpy, and the jalapenos added a nice acidic flavor (not spicy, but thats me). Everything came together nicely -- the bun wasnt too soft nor too chewy/dense. The onion rings were awesome... I cant give it a 5 because (for me) it was lacking a slam dunk factor haha. Maybe Ill come back to try more :) Also, eating partner ordered a medium rare and it came more medium/medium well. He still enjoyed it though, as well as the beer haha! Definitely a place to visit out in Sac. Ill come back soon!
