This is my recent experience at Sizzler--very disappointed that no one has contacted me yet. This is the exact email I sent to them. Was recently on vacation in sacramento and visited your advantage way location. Decided to have steaks to celebrate my husbands 55th birthday, and go to Sizzler. We order our meals, 2 steak and unlimited shrimp, which I upgraded to the 8oz steak, and paid a total of $56.25. We were seated and then visited the salad bar, which all was good. We received our order and began to eat. After I ate 2 or 3 shrimp, I noticed there was a hair in my food, under some of the shrimp. I let Lucera, our server know. She basically said sorry, picked up the plate and said she would take care of it. She continued on to at least 4 or 5 more tables before finally going to the kitchen to correct the problem. About 8-10 minutes later, still waiting for a replacement, she brings a small plate of shrimp only, which I didnt want until I had my steak. About 4-5 minutes later the steak finally arrives. During this time, my husband has been eating his salad and slowly eating his steak and shrimp--hes a slow eater. He had eaten about 1/2 of his steak--which was ordered well done--got towards the middle, and the rest of the steak was medium rare. Not sure how this can happen. I finally got the attention of Chris Ann, the manager on duty, and informed of both situations. She offered an apology, small and slight, and to remake his steak, but by this time I had lost my appetite, and he was basically full from salad and the small amount of steak he was able to eat. At this point, I feel she should have offered a refund for these issues, but went on about how the server is supposed to ask us to cut into our steaks to be sure they were cooked properly, which she didnt. Chris Ann left and addressed the issue with the server. After that point, nobody ever checked back with us either--nobody checked to be sure my second steak was good/correct, never offered any refills on shrimp. Lucera stopped to pick up plates and that was the end of any interaction. Ive been in the service industry for over 30 years myself, and have never encountered such a disappointing experience when eating out. Thank you for taking the time to read my email--it got a little lengthy, but wanted to make sure I gave as much detail as possible. I did also attempt to contact the store manager, Grace I believe , by phone on Saturday morning around 10am, but she wasnt in at the time, and I was then spending time with friends, and Sunday was in San Francisco on the way back home, so was unable to attempt to contact her again. 7 /21/2015: I Like Sizzler. This place is something else. Sure, the building is nice looking. The music was crazy, loud and obnoxious. The Texas toast was flat and had junk from the grill on it. The salad bar was ok except there were no peas and peoples dumb kids breathing on all of the food. Not really Sizzlers fault but I wouldve said something to the parents, its uncalled for. The frostee machine / dessert counter was a disaster... The the cooks looked like they didnt care, my fish and chips was fried in oil that was too hot, undercooked batter... even the cashier didnt smile back at me and my mother - just some smug young doosh. I Hate this Joke of a Sizzler, Ill never go back.

Husband and I stopped here on our way to LA. spent almost $50 for some crappy food the ribblets was dry hard and cold the bbq sauce that was on them was nasty! The cook didnt know how to cook a steak well done. Took the watriess over 10 minutes to get our drinks said she would be right back with bread another 10 minutes there!!! We travel for a living and stop at a lot of different restaurants but this one right here wow is about all I can say wont be back to this location thats for sure!!!

By far the worst sizzles I have ever been in, ask to talk to Mgr. He came to the table, never introduced himself, just said whats the problem? I told him that all salad dressing were out, no hot wings, no onion rings, no fruit, soup was low, took them 45 min to replace salad dressing, and never filled thousand islands, table never got cleaned, no drink refils.....I could go on....his response was basically ok....last time for me !!

Clean, well organized, nice food. The best of any Sizzler we have been to. Cashier told kitchen in our hearing about a food allergy warning (excellent.) Manager came by tables during the meal (very professional.) Second time weve come to this Sizzler even though its not close to where we live. Identical excellent experience both times. Will be back again. All staff members were friendly.

I wonder if anybody really comes here for the entrees rather than the salad bar, which is really more of a buffet with extensive salad and fruit selection, but also pasta, tacos, bread pudding, soft serve, soup and more. Is it gourmet? No, but its decent food with a lot of variety for a single AYCE price. This location is newer so clean and a lot of seating.

A huge selection for salad bar (including but not limited to fruits, veggies, chips, beans, mac n cheese, soup) but no real flavor. Probably a good place for families, but I wouldnt recommend for any "foodies" in my life. Its a safe chain if you dont want surprises with your food, nice staff. Nothing more, nothing less. Reminds me of Hometown Buffet.

Excellent customer service, food and environment!! Although one could see that they were busy, the customers were not made to feel it. The waitress who helped at our table was pleasant and efficiently attentive. I was able to enjoy a delicious meal in peace. I had a lovely time and I will go there again as I have opportunity. Sizzler-- Yeah!

Pricey, for what it is, especially because everything we wanted from the salad bar was empty. When we asked when the items would be replenished I was told, "when its made". She was very rude, and in the 45-60 min we were eating none of the items were filled.

Met friends there on our way to a concert in Wheatland. It was right off the Highway 5 and easy to get in and out of. Really busy but able to get right in. Salad bar is huge - way better than some of the other Sizzlers that I have been to.

I ordered a Ribeye and the vegetable medley. I was a little skeptical at first...I didnt expect the state to be as good as it was considering the price. It was a very pleasant surprise! And, my steak was cooked exactly the way I requested.

I dont know why people give this a few stars, but when we went there the service was fast --- and it was Mothers Day. Steak was great, actually better than those upscale restaurants, and for the same price you get the buffet haha!

The salad bar includes much more than just salad. Taco, Mac and cheese, a bunch of stuff, including soft serve ice cream... or root beer float if your my kids... I believe they just completed a remodel here also. Very nice!!!
