In general I do not complain, but in this case I feel that I must. My Banquet experience at Buca Di Beppo in Roseville, was terrible. I made reservations for my sons Rehearsal Dinner for 27 people. I made the reservations 5 days in advance. I communicated with the sales person at least 4 times before our dinner to make sure everything was okay. Our reservations were set for 5PM sharp, and I was told if we were late our space would be cancelled. I arrived at the restaurant at 4:47PM, ahead of everyone else to make sure everything was okay. I told the girl at the front desk, who I was, and that I was here for our reserved Rehearsal dinner. I was told that the room was not ready yet but that it was currently being setup. People from my party kept coming in, filling up the waiting area. It got really crowed in there. We did not get access to the room until 5:34PM. This was very embarrassing for me. During the wait nobody kept me informed. I approached the girl twice to ask if the room was ready yet. I felt completely ignored. When the food was being served, there was not enough bread. I told a waiter, he left, and nothing was done. When the Chicken Parmigiana was served, there were not enough pieces for the table so I told a different waiter that we were short. I was told that he would check our order. He never came back and again, nothing was done. Not once, was I ever asked if everything was okay. In conclusion, this was the most impersonal treatment that I have ever received at any restaurant in my life. Our reserved room was not ready on time, which was very uncomfortable. There was not enough food, and when I complained, I was ignored. This experience was a total embarrassment for me in front of my family and my new in-laws. I feel that it is my responsibility to warn other people so that they can be spared this humiliation.

Just ate their this afternoon; hadnt been there in 15 years, but gave it a shot after getting a flyer with a coupon sent to our company. I remembered the large portions I received when I was at a work party so many years ago and decided to give it a shot. Positives: Great Atmosphere; lots of pictures on wall of those of famous Italian Heritage; has that great New York small family Italian restaurant appeal Server: My server Jessy was friendly and able to make recommendations. Negatives: Food- The food was dry and not very tasty; I ordered lunch portion chicken parmigiana along with fettucine alfredo, along with some garlic bread. There was not enough sauce on either the pasta or the parmigiana which also was somewhat burnt. Had to request additional marinara sauce. Time: It took about 20 minutes from the time I ordered to get the food, although was not crowded at all, and an hour before I got out of there which I had hoped would have been 30 minutes or less. Pricing: Looking at the menu, it is simply very expensive; small dishes are $25 that feed 2-3, large that feed 3-5 are $40. With a family of six, you couldnt get a variety of dishes without easily going over $100 which I cant afford to do too often. For my meal with a deep discount, I still paid a little less than $15. Overall experience was disappointing; cant say I would recommend to my business or bring in my family; probably another 15 years until my next visit.

I usually find that written reviews says more about the person writing them than it does the place being reviewed. Therefor, I never pay much attention to reviews and NEVER write any. But as "the father of the bride" this time I will make an exception. My daughter visited with this place about using them as a rehearsal dinner for their wedding. She has discussed it with them at least 3 times over the past 4 months. Always asking if she needed a reservation. They always said, no. They had agreed to order off the menu and chose not to do the banquet style format. The business always said they would prefer to do a banquet, but ordering off the menu would be fine. About a $600 difference. All was fine until the day before the dinner when Buca changed everything and said they had to do the banquet. So in my opinion I would NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY. VERY POOR TREATMENT. I personally am not angry about this but just thought people need to know.

Buca di Beppo is one of my favorite restaurants. I went there for my birthday last year, and it was a fabulous dining experience. The waitress treated my friends and I with the utmost respect, and the food was rich and divine. The spaghetti and the caesar were our favorites that evening. We all loved the decorations, especially the picture of the nuns on the Go Carts. Probably our favorite part was when we got our seat. We were lead around the entire restaurant, including the kitchen, only to be seated back at the front of the restaurant. This resulted in plenty of laughs. Thank you for making it a great night.

I am not writing because of the quality of food, but we went there for the first time a week ago and it was decent food and service, and we split the bill with our friends. We were charged the amount we split the bill for and then the full amount afterwards. We ended up calling and leaving a message with the manager and he called us right back, but we will see if this gets resolved. The food was decent, I dont know if we will go back, but if we do, we will definitely pay cash! Im sure it was an honest mistake, but just beware.

Ordered online, Credit card was charged. Received e-mail receipt with charges. I am at home nursing a broken leg. Sent my daughters fiancé to pick up order which was paid for online and he had the receipt they sent via e-mail in print for, but they would not let him pick up the order. They said its because of credit card fraud! Really? Then you need to explain on your website that the credit card holder must pick up the take out order. NO EXCEPTIONS. Please add this disclaimer to your website immediately.

Great wait staff, our waiter, Daniel, was amazing and funny. The food was great, and the portions are HUGE. Essentially the only 2 sizes for meals are large and larger. Their small size is still very large and can supposedly feed up to 3 people, and my family of 5 could barely finish our food. Im not too sure if this is authentic Italian food, but it doesnt matter because its GOOD food. We had a great time! Well be back again!

Food is good as usual coz we happen to be familiar with their menu back in San Diego. Just kept hearing complaints from staff. Horrible wait for an antipasto. Now I wonder if Buca di Beppo stopped serving complimentary bread. There was a family waiting for food before us never saw them get bread, same thing with us, as well as another group that came 20minutes after.

The servers are really loud, laughing, talking about how much sleep they got, how hung over they where, banging excessively!! My heart shaped lasagne was cold in the middle and as they brought it to us bragged how it "cooked" at 500° and was super "hot" and was overpriced. $62 for heart shaped COLD lasansge, bread, and 2 MINI Canaolis, and 2 sodas with no refills!
