I should have known troubles awaited us as we pulled into this empty parking lot location. Only three other cars. One owner, one employee, and one patron. Not only that, as soon as the hot air hit me when I entered the door, I knew something about La Bou had changed. THIS IS NOT A CHAIN!! It is now owned and operated by Asian only staff/ownership at this location, (a completely non-racial observation, btw). My next observation was that there were no fresh croissants or artisan breads displayed in glass, nice and fresh and covered, like it used to be. The bread items, (now left uncovered at room temp all day and night til close,) I was told, is only baked once a day early in the morning. Everything sits out all day and hardens. And it was so warm in there we could hardly breathe, and I am not exaggerating. I reminded the employee that their suddenly unsightly product is open for bugs and dust. She shrugged her shoulders and simply said: "Yep". I told them why they have no business and we walked out. I will never go there again or refer anyone I like to eat at that location. The service was rude, the food looked disgusting, not fresh by any means, the parking lot surprisingly empty as La Bou was once the hotspot for a good lunch, and the 85 degree atmosphere was crotch-rot worthy. Only a half star worthy and that was because the place was clean. (It better be clean since theyre so slow now right?) Sad to see yet another business go down the tubes. I will always miss the turkey and cream cheese croissants. Goodbye La Bou

During lunch rushes they malfunction. I paid $10.50 for my lunch, waited 30 minutes, walked up to the kitchen. I was ignored. After 40 minutes I walked over to my table, placed the order number down, grabbed my things and left. To say Im livid is an understatement. I was supposed to take a 30 minute lunch. It turned into an hour and a half lunch. Very rarely do I place restaurants on my ban list. They have to do something absolutely stupid. Not bringing my order is one of those. P.S. The breads that come with the order are dry as hell.

I absolutely love their BLT sandwich on a sourdough roll. They bake their bread fresh everyday. I get excited when I hit it just right and see that hot steaming fresh roll come out from the back. The dill sauce with a whole baguette is a huge hit. Their salad are always good. The tea is so delicious especially the mango tea. You can never go wrong with sandwiches or a salad for lunch or dinner anytime here.

Arthur ate here...I had noticed once inside this business it had no branding on walls,...confusing on what it was... bistro, cafe or bakery...I ordered the tri tip sandwich, the flavor was lacking, just some meat stuck in a bun, with something meant to be a side salad on the plate...no love.

Returned to this Bakery after 14 years and am happy with the products and services, especially the apricot croissants or apple strudel. Great coffee as well. The place is little dated and is the only reason for not rating it 5 stars.

I absolutely love their plan croissants. They are a guilty pleasure that I only allow myself once in a blue moon. They hit the spot. I get one for the car ride home and a couple to keep, split and eat during the week.

They have a good middle week happy hour...who knew? But they close at 6 pm. But if you are nice and tip, they will let you stay longer to just chill and chat

I have loved this place for many years. New emphasis is bistro style savory entrees and divine desserts.

They have screwed up my order or served me cold food far too many times. Otherwise theyre okay, I guess.
