I love their mexican bread, but I just realized they raised their prices. I dont go there much but when i do they dont have all the bread types. I like pumpkin empanada and the couple times i go they never have it. Also the cuernos or the nino envuelto are hard to get early in the day. Another complaint is that i got overcharged a couple times. The cashiers just guess the prices and quantities especially if you buy alot of it. I have checked my receipt before and they charged me 1.25x3 i did not even get any bread that cost that much and the total amount of bread on my receipt was 2-3 more breads than what i actually got so keep an eye on that. Besides that i wouldnt go anywhere else for mexican bread.

They sell a bit of everything but you will notice a their strong heritage. People of all types do go mainly for their cook foods and especially for their real authentic mexican sweet bread. Its cooked daily they start cooking it about 2-3 am ready for operating hours at 7am. Customer service is awesome, the staff is very quick and even with long lines at times due to their great awesome foods people dont wait long in lines. Definitely a place to visit...

Dont listen to the 1 star reviews. This IS the best place for Mexican bread on the west coast. Period! Im not kidding. I just moved back to Sacramento (my hometown) from living in Southern CA and NOTHING down there compares or even comes close. I and my family have been coming here for 45 years. This is the bomb spot!

Awesome! Just awesome! Great food and sweets that you will not...will not find elsewhere. Unbelievable prices. I dare you to eat everything you can get for say $7.00. Be pepared to stand in line though, because it doesnt matter what time you get there, the lines are always 15-30 minutes long.

It is an ok place however the owners still take advantage of the workers that for not having papers they work them on Holidays and only pay them the regular pay the owners are braking the law and abusing this people that deserve more and we continue to allow this by continue to shop there.

I spent 4 dollars for 16 Bodillos. The Mexican bread, Tres Leche, churros, champorado and tamales are yumms too. They do have wheat bread also, but I havent bought any. My definite go to, but be forewarned to bring company, because there can be a wait. BUT its worth it for sure.

My friend Daniel Barajas said it was the best "Pan" in the world, so I went in and decided to give it a try, the overall quality taste and price were satisfactory. I would come back. Favorites were the Puercos, conchas and empanadas. But the inside was in need of a remodeling.

The Bread delicious, the service poor. Theres always a girl just walking around, one cleaning, one helping customer with bread and a huge line. They need to learn how to pit a customer first when they see a huge line like that. Im sure the walking around can wait.

Best bakery in the town. If you havent had a chance to try a delicious chocolate croissant or mexican pastry, then grab $5 and head on over! The line may be a little offsetting at furst, but its all worth the wait. I go at least once a weak

They have some of the best baked pastries, donors, churros, cookies, cakes and bread. Only thing, you have to be prepared for a long wait in line because everybody else loves their baked goods, too!

My mom used to work there back in the 90 s, the original owner don chava was the best person ever, he did have respect for his employees and customers, no better owner than don chava.

Churros most everyday, need i say more lol. One of the best bakerys in town with plenty of diversity to pick from 3 milks cake to pan and even baklava--you wont be disappointed.

This place has great bread but there are more than a few ladies that are soooo rude it kind of scares you away. Let us not forget that customers are what keeps a business going.
