The food was good, not great. The service was ok, but not good. There were two waitresses working Saturday evening. Neither had a name tag so I cant tell you which one was ours but ours was wearing all black and the other was wearing a black and red blouse. Our waitress was poorly trained. She didnt welcome us to the restaurant, just took us to our seat and her first words to us were, "I see you are looking at our special menu,(which was on a dry erase board) we are out of the Ono". Then when we ordered Caeser salad instead of a garden salad she said "it will cost more", then when our bread came she said "its hot, be careful" instead of "its hot, enjoy". She never came by with the fresh black pepper grinder for our salads, although we had a pepper grinder on our table, it didnt work. My husband had to go find the pepper grinder and do it himself. Then we asked for more Parmesan Cheese and our waitress brings us a little plastic 1 oz contained filled with Parmesan cheese instead of shredding it over our salads. This waitress was nice but needed training. She never once said "good choice" but would just say "ok" when we made a selection. This restaurant owner needs to train his staff better. We will most likely not return to this restaurant.

Worst place have been in a long time, first their website reservations are in Southern California somewhere, so we didnt have reservations, the place was almost empty, but they still put us by the door, crappy table! This gave us opportunity to witness how they treat their clientele. After we watched 3 groups get so pissed off because they didnt get greeted and left, the host made a comment that, "its about time they figured out we are too busy," again the place was not even half full. After that, we started telling people to not bother to wait. The food was very mediocre, not worth the stress, we will never go back. The four and five stars have to be the owners, dont know how this place has survived, Bend has some great places, this is not one of them!!!

Most of the photos posted here are NOT from the Bend Oregon location of High Tides. I have never been disappointed with the food here. Once in a while the service lags, but generally that is when new staff changes happen. The menu is heavily loaded with seafood so few options for a landlubber carnivore. Prices are good and seafood dishes are great. Acoustics can be a problem during peak times so late lunch or early dinner are more relaxed.

i had a training down the street so we "happened" to come across High Tides and went to lunch, I had sesame crusted ahi and it was so wonderful, the next day at the training, i suggested we go back...i had cajun bronzed steelhead with roasted potatoes and veggies and again - excellent!! I wish they had a happy hour, its my new favorite place but i cant afford it on my salary....

The best seafood in Oregon. Always fresh. Never over-cooked and presented nicely. The menu is big enough to please everybody. The oyster bisque is awesome! The wait staff is very accommodating and pleasant. Small and initimate settingyet casual and friendly. We have become regulars and always recommend it to visitors--who are not disappointed.

Absolutely wonderful. The service was outstanding, very attentive. The Salmon Chowder was top of the line. Bacon wrapped Scallops were perfect and the fish and chips were the best Ive ever had. Five stars for sure.

Hightides is our special go to place. Anniversaries and birthdays are celebrated here. The food is wonderful, from the salad and bread through dessert. the best shrimp anywhere.

Went to Bend to see our sons newly purchased home. We wanted to try High Tides Seafood Grill and had great meals. The Halibut in Green Curry is wonderful. Must Try!

Very disappointing.. Food wasnt as great as a couple of years ago. Didnt feel we got our monies worth and they didnt have much of a choice of desert.

High quality seafood and great service, but making reservations is recommended because there is often a long line.
