Pesto pasta tasted awful this last time I went there and ended up with a sweet case of food poisoning. This place was so awesome when I first went to Sacramento City College, but now its gone downhill with service and being sanitary. The last four times Ive gone in trying to support our small coffee shops, but they forget to make my drink, or forget my food. The bathroom is extremely dirty and rarely cleaned--while the food conintues to get worse. Would not recommend eating here ever, unless you want to get sick. The drinks are okay, if they ever bring them out.

I love Espresso Metro. As a City College student, Im in here several days per week because the aesthetic is so much more comfortable than the school library. The employees are really nice and the prices on food and drinks are great. Plus, they taste amazing! My favorite thing to get is an Earl Grey tea with sourdough and brie. I also love the art, and how it rotates as the featured local artist changes from time to time. Highly recommend!

Good place for studying and a cup of coffee. There are plenty of food s to eat such as the gluten free brownies to the small containers of yogurt. Personally the vegan burritos are my favorite when Im hungry. I believe they use Peerless beans for their coffee. Not to mention the power outlets and wifi.

Theres nothing like a chocolate chip cookie from Metro! The service is super friendly and they love their regulars! A perfect neighborhood coffee house! Great art on rotation and a college atmosphere plus free wi-fi!

I love Espresso Metro, they have good coffee drinks, a wide variety of coffee alternatives, yummy pastries, breakfast foods (try the oat jack!), happy staff and a great atmosphere at good prices. Feels like home.

Classic college coffee shop, and my current favorite in Sacramento. Strong coffee, shabby surroundings, eccentric looking staff, great tamales, soups, burritos, and sandwiches, and reasonable prices.
