This is a new place, but I have already been here three or four times so far,. I think this may become my "regular" coffee shop because it combines all of the things that I like in a local coffee shop. It has good coffee, without the crowds and noise of places like Temple or Old Soul (which are also on my list as good places to go). While they use Temple beans, I think they may be a bit cheaper than Temple. They also have what appears to be a great selection of cold-case food, with both vegan and carnivorous options. The staff is friendly and seem invested in the shop and their customers. I also really like the fact that one of the walls is covered in windows, giving it plenty of natural light. Plus they have full-sized tables with convenient outlets for those of us who use coffee shops as another place to get some work done when we need to get out of the house! So all in all, stop by and support your new local coffee shop!

Although many of us in Oak Park have been conditioned to expect pricey offerings from local eateries, Broadway Coffee bucks the trend. They offer more affordable food than the competition, and it tastes amazing. Their burritos are crazy good, as are their turnovers. Their coffee is also consistently solid. The location has new artwork on its facade, and it is truly a part of Oak Park. Great place to eat, drink coffee, study, or relax.

Noticed this place a few months ago and Im so happy I decided to try it out! Broadway has the most friendly staff, a great atmosphere, affordable prices, good coffee, and a great selection of food/pastries. Definitely an Oak Park gem, and a great alternative to the Old Soul down the street.
