Disappointed because Union Point should be more...a lot more. Basicly, its a roadside river dive bar that has done a poor job trying to dress its self up. It"s located in the middle of the twenty minute stretch of Highway 4 between Stockton to Brentwood (15 minutes north of Tracy). Curb appeal...not this place. From the road, you feel like your walking into the back of a restaurant...it was even confusing where you should enter. And parking is a free-for-all with no real indication where to park. With the brand new docks its appears their focus is only on boaters, while the parking lot is a pot hole dust bowl. While talking with my server, I found out that the owner made a move this last year to close down the restaurant over the winter and only keeps the place open on weekends. That should have been my sign. If the food & service was any good, people will make the drive to enjoy a nice meal on the river...there are numerous other successful river restaurants in the middle of nowhere that prove that fact. And with the amount of traffic on Highway 4 and that they cant get people to stop all year long, means there is no reason to stop unless its 90 degrees and you want to sit on the deck...and then wait forever to get your food.

Ive been going here now for over 3 years and to me it is the best place on the marina. Gail the bartender offers great service! Although, I only get the turkey burger with cheese plus fries which obviously, is my fav as I havent ordered anything else when I eat there as this is tasty enough! So I cant give any opinion on other foods there. The drinks are very cold & tasty too! Service is always great & the atmosphere there to is the bomb! My BF Steve has been going here for years & I was introduced to this place through him. We go quite often here! Love it!

Stopped in early am on a Sat while out riding. Super friendly staff who were welcoming and very accommodating. Great views of the delta. Food was tasty and drinks cold. I will stop back in on the next ride by.
